A bunch of Marvel Legends I bought last year are now seen available for like half price brand new. Is it a safe bet to just wait one year, then buy? What are the chances something will be sold out and never seen again for normal prices like Mandalorian Black Series?

I have a lot of figures/statues/model kits from when I lived in Japan. I still have the boxes for a lot of them. I really don't look for value to increase, I usually just get what I like.
I'm not talking buy low sell high like a scalper. I'm talking about I feel like a jackass after I bought then I could have bought half price later. If it's cheaper, I'd be more likely to buy characters I wouldn't have otherwise. If I found 3.75" Vintage Collection Jawa, Remnant Stormtroopers, I'd buy. I might buy the dirty Stormtrooper for full price.
I'm planning to throw away the boxes and cardbacks since they take up too much space. I like some of the boxart of Gunpla and cardart of Hot Wheels, so might rubber cement them together on poster board. I saved the G.I. Joe classified info cards and that's how I was reminded which ones I had, where I forgot some.

Instead of tossing them, hit Ebay. Someone will bid on it eventually.
People will buy empty Marvel Legends boxes? Never heard of people buying empty toy boxes.

If you really like it, buy it when it first comes out. If you wait for clearance, that figure might be already sold out while rest of the line are peg warmers. Not worth the stress to save $10.
Yeah, maybe.
I bought most of the Wendigo BAF components for regular price to $5 off and probably could have got a bunch for $10 off.
I missed out on some clearance stuff while waiting for the price to drop a bit more. Those weren't must haves though. More like buy if price is right, if not, it's ok.
I saw a lot of crazy high asking prices just for a box or a few boxes. I suspect they don't sell for that much in reality.

I have a bunch of Spawn/Todd McFarland action figures packed away in a bin somewhere around here. I used to collect in the early 2000's or so. I always took them out of the box though, I was never interested in them as any sort of investment. Maybe when I get some time I'll dig them out and see what I have and snap a few pics.

This one is worth something and still a better figure than what McFarlane is doing. Great sculpt, paint detail and articulation (something early McFarlane figures lacked).

I took the plunge and bought one of these last summer. It's much larger and more detailed than the original G1 toy so I only managed to transform it one time. His blaster is pretty cool and is loaded with sound clips and effects from the show.
