My wallet seeing another Mondo Godzilla release

Amazon has Marvel Legends Retro FF Human Torch & Mr. Fantastic $11.99 each. Probably a very brief duration sale price.

A bunch of Kree Sentry BAF figures from 3rd party sellers also around $11 each. I kinda want to use that as a Sentinel, but would need a head and after I assemble the parts, Hasbro would probably make an official one that looks better.

Judge Dredd Klegg Mercenary figure turned up today. Looks okay but whilst all the other figures are on cards and visible easily if you want to display them this figure is in a box and is difficult to see easily...nice that you can remove it for display without damaging the packaging but not so good if you want to keep it in there.

I don't know why that 2016 comic-con sticker is on the box as this is supposed to be a reissue. Either way, I've been wanting this one for FOREVER! I missed on the first chance, but they announced it again!

Yes. Norman Osborn was placed in charge of the Avengers, fired them all, kept all of Tony's suits, and became the Iron Patriot in the comics.

Norman Osborn had zero ***ks to give! :)

Now, do I buy one Hulk and one Toad or do I get 2 Hulks , open one and keep one?


Edit : choice made for me , can only buy 1 Hulk due to high demand on GAME UK website.

So, bought 1 Hulk and 1 Toad. And as they had the Marvel retro Hercules for about $12 I bought 1 of him also which I'll open to (dis)play with and keep the 1 I already have...

When I first heard it was coming, I mentally prepared to try to buy it, but didn't because both heads looked like shit. The faces and hairdos.

My Hulk is the MCU Smart Hulk BAF where I decided to pursue it after finding the Rock Python with one Hulk arm on clearance for $4. I didn't want those two shit MCU Smart Hulk heads, so eventually saw someone say the earlier Gladiator Hulk head fits.

I do want that Hulk body and wanted the SDCC(?) one, but never was widely sold. Maybe they'll re-issue later. In some interview, sounded like maybe Professor Hulk (comic) might be in the pipeline, so I'd wait for that.
 
"Iron Capt Am" didn't have the same ring to it.

I think I saw DC McF movie Bane needs just 4 figures to build the BAF.

Yea, I wasn't a fan of the faces when I initially saw them but like moss on Swamp Thing, they've grown on me and I don't mind them now. If the figure had been at it's full price I suspect they would have been a deal breaker possibly though...

Comic book spoilers below...

In the "Secret Invasion" comics storyline Osborn killed the Skrull queen (right place right time). The President said "You're our guy!" and put him in charge of the Avengers. He fired everyone, put together his own squad of psychos (Bullseye played the role of Hawkeye, costume and all) and took all of Stark's armors. He rebranded one suit and started calling himself "Iron Patriot." Of course he eventually went off the rails and got fired.
