People do not understand how much fur matters in a fight.

I had a very furry gentle Lab/Collie mix and he got attacked by Shepard mix. Got seized by the throat at a dog park and the dog had his way with him for a long period of time before we could break them apart. Once apart my dog only had two tiny cuts as the fur kept the pit from getting penetration.

It is the same with Lions and why they are called the King over Tigers who are bigger and more ferocious. Defense matters and that huge main matters in a fight against someone who will fight back..

Your comment did make sense as protection helps in a fight. But I believe a full grown Siberian Tiger can handle a Lion, however, a Lion is still a bad ass and feared A-pex predator.

Yeah that's about right! The Jagdterrier is very slightly smaller... Nasty temperament on those fuckers though -,ok with kids just terrible with everything else... Visitors beware, don't stroke those fuckers if they sit in front of you... They will take a chunk out of your finger and make noises like the Rancor.

They cost about 200k a pop for a pure breed... You can only get pure breeds at auction, and they start at 200k. Crazy.

Lovely house pets apparently if you treat them right.

A lot mentioned are banned or restricted rightly.

Years of selective breeding for aggression and fighting might make a good farm or country dog where kept away from strangers but does not mean they should be brought into the city settings.

the Tiger is bigger and stronger and as long as he controls the fight he will win. But the Lion has a clear shot to the killing blow and enough power that if he grabs that neck once with his teeth and strength, it is over de to that neck being so bare. The Tiger would need to control the lion for a long while before being able to kill it and it would likely be due to strangulation since they both would go for the throat more times than not.

I heard a botched deal where some Chinese man like real business man or something paid 1 mill for a mutt or some blood line that wasn't right.

I will have to go and find this story later because I want to share how great it is. But for now, you will have to take my word on it.
 
P4p is such a ridiculous argument. It's a law of nature that the smaller the animal, the stronger, faster, tougher, etc it would have to be(relative to its size) to survive. Meanwhile, the guy below would likely wreck a 50lb pit.

I've seen one Police German Shepard kill 2 pit bulls when the cops raided a guys house. Fuck your Pitt bulls fuck your Jack Russels, GS are the smartest dogs and just like humans intelligence is huge in combat.
 
My step-moms chi-weenie mauled my boss today. His leg was a blood mess. Little fucker swarmed like a piraña. True story.

In all seriousness though, I give zero fucks about how tough a dog is. I just care that they're chill, intelligent & obedient like my lab/beagle mix. She's smarter than most people for real.

Umm yeah but Tigers beat lions 9 of of 10 times in a real fight. In the rare instances where the 2 have fought the tigers had come out victorious.
