He just scored another epic knockout and he might be retiring, so let's discuss our favorite fights featuring one of the all time greats.

Arona/Henderson - Arona is one of my all time favorites and his grappling skills were second to none; in particular his top game was legendary. This fight is a grappling masterpiece, as the smaller Hendo repeatedly manages to escape from the bottom and even threatens with a choke of his own. Very close and exciting fight.

Big Nog/Henderson 2 - Everything I said about the Arona fight goes double for this one. That fight and this one show what an amazing grappler Hendo was when he was younger. Some of his escapes and reversals defy belief here. Nog has a chip on his shoulder from losing the first fight and he comes out with something to prove but he gets all he can handle from a guy 40 lbs smaller. Keep in mind Nog was the #1 fighter in the world at this time. This may be Dan's best performance ever.

Rampage/Henderson - Great battle between two of the best chins in the history of the sport. Rampage said it hurt his hands to hit Hendo's head. This was Quinton's peak era as a fighter, I think; his boxing and in particular his counter-punching have never been better. This is one of the best light heavyweight title fights in UFC history.

Shogun/Henderson 1 - This fight could get a coma patient's pulse pounding. I've shown it to multiple people with zero interest in MMA who have been enthralled by it. This one definitely played a key role in breaking the formerly granite chins of both men. Epic.

Bisping/Henderson - TUF bad blood gave this one a great storyline and it culminated with probably the single most iconic and perfect knockout in MMA history.

What do you think? What does your list look like?

Big Fedor fan. Fedor is GOAT. All day and every day.

That said, Hendo's win over Fedor is his best. Nothing even comes close. Nothing tops that. Nothing is better than defeating the GOAT.

Hat's off to Hendo.

Hendo vs Wand 2 - Hendo set a record by holding 2 belts a once in a major org. Has yet to be duplicated.

Also, didn't he beat Newton with a broken jaw? Hendo is legend. I can't think of a fighter that better defines what it means to be an mma fighter.

Hendo/wand 1
Both shogun fights

His fight with Feijao is overlooked and underrated.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to rattle off a perfect list here, but that fight is worthy of an honorable mention. If memory serves he got cracked really bad and was almost out, then something clicked in his head he zombied back to life and cracked Rafael for the KO. It was crazy.

Wasn't that the last pride event? Can't remember the other belt, I know he got strikeforce gold off Feijao but wasn't that after losing in two ufc title shots?

Unless it was two pride belts cause I can't recall the other one

He was already the 183lb champ when he stepped in the ring against Wanderlei. He left with both that belt and the 205lb belt. The two title fights he lost in the UFC were unification bouts when PRIDE was absorbed.

Both Shogun fights, Lombard.. Fedor

he was still like 35 lol.

He did, yeah. Hendo has always been hard as nails.

Oh so instead of making a title defense he got another belt? Gotcha, kinda like what Conor was trying to attempt with the RDA fight. Hardly a record without defending

Both Shogun fights need to be included. 2 Legends showing the grit and killer instinct a lot of fighters lack today

The time Vitor uppercut or super kick into oblivion.

Only for Spider to destroy him unifying the title. Epic. The iron chin video greatly depicted the bombs they threw at one another.

Exactly what Conor was trying to do. Hardly a record? C'mon man, it's not his fault PRIDE died. He was a two weight champ, legit.

I guess. I might be a little harsh but I like my champs to defend their belts at least one. So on this case I feel BJ'S was a bigger accomplishment

Silva doesn't get enough credit for that win IMO.

In the video (was removed from YouTube I think it's vimeo ) titled iron chin, Spider walks through his bombs, dissects Henderson brawling picks him apart with crisp striking and drops him with a knee. Pretty sure he had a concussion from that fight. Not sure how he knew to tap. Most guys be ktfo. Henderson is a warrior no doubt.
