Top 5 Hendo Fights

Ive always disliked Dan.....got a few gift decisions early in his career and every decision loss he received, he swore....he won everyone of them.

My favorite and least favorite was the Mousasi fight at the same time:

Was content that Gegard ko-ed him but the flip side of the coin is that they robbed Mousasi of a ground and pound highlite reel cause the ref tackled moose a bit soon.

I cant stand Hector Lombard more(I ,have, big respect for Dan) so I enjoyed the extra Hen-bow across Hector's mug.

If this is indeed his last fight - Lombard is in that top 5.

One of the best short fights I've watched.

Even tho he lost, Wand/Holloywood I was fucking awsome. I wonder what was going thru his head as he laid on his back with Wand trying to stomp his face in.

Shogun 1 is Hendo's best fight ever. It's also one of the best fights in MMA.

Him beating Fedor and Wand were huge.

His fights with Rampage, Nog, and Franklin were pretty good too.

lol hendo knocks out a 38 year old deflated lombard who just got brutally tko'ed two months ago and ppl think he's back or something??
No. We're mma fans and by extension Dan Hendo fans. We don't think "he's back" we're just amped that the old man won. Now, take your hate to another thread. If you can't appreciate Hendo you have no place in mma.

His first fight with Shogun is my all time favorite fight of his

He just scored another epic knockout and he might be retiring, so let's discuss our favorite fights featuring one of the all time greats.

Arona/Henderson - Arona is one of my all time favorites and his grappling skills were second to none; in particular his top game was legendary. This fight is a grappling masterpiece, as the smaller Hendo repeatedly manages to escape from the bottom and even threatens with a choke of his own. Very close and exciting fight.

Big Nog/Henderson 2 - Everything I said about the Arona fight goes double for this one. That fight and this one show what an amazing grappler Hendo was when he was younger. Some of his escapes and reversals defy belief here. Nog has a chip on his shoulder from losing the first fight and he comes out with something to prove but he gets all he can handle from a guy 40 lbs smaller. Keep in mind Nog was the #1 fighter in the world at this time. This may be Dan's best performance ever.

Rampage/Henderson - Great battle between two of the best chins in the history of the sport. Rampage said it hurt his hands to hit Hendo's head. This was Quinton's peak era as a fighter, I think; his boxing and in particular his counter-punching have never been better. This is one of the best light heavyweight title fights in UFC history.

Shogun/Henderson 1 - This fight could get a coma patient's pulse pounding. I've shown it to multiple people with zero interest in MMA who have been enthralled by it. This one definitely played a key role in breaking the formerly granite chins of both men. Epic.

Bisping/Henderson - TUF bad blood gave this one a great storyline and it culminated with probably the single most iconic and perfect knockout in MMA history.

What do you think? What does your list look like?

Great list I would just replace the Fedor fight with the Arona - just personal preference as Fedor is still considered by some as the all time GOAT

I'm among them and it was a great bout. Dan has had so many classics I could easily make a top 15 or even 20 fights. The win over Fedor would definitely make my list of Hendo's top 5 achievements.
