Good job Tony. Everybody seems to forget how many times "do Bronx" (Dumbass name) has missed weight
He's never missed weight at 155, he had trouble at 145 but that's been years.

To be fair, he's saying that if Olivera doesn't even try or come close, he won't fight. If he misses by 1/2 a pound or a pound, I think he'll take the extra money from Olivera's check. He's talking about missing by three or four pounds, and using the "short notice" as an excuse.https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mm...fc-256-charles-oliveira-fails-make-weight-mma
Better pray he makes weight sherbros.
FERGUSON said:So I’m Calling It Now. Case Law: Short Notice Fight, Oliveira Will Not Cut Weight All Week And Show Up 3-4 Pounds Over Weight And Use The Excuse Of A Short Notice Fight. If He Shows Up That Much Overweight We Are Not Competing
Tony marches to his own drummer i respect thatHe'd take his show money and refuse to fight?
Bet the UFC executives would love that...
Good luck getting a title shot ever again with that attitude
Dude missed weight by 9 fucking pounds. 9....pounds.... Tony is absolutely right here
Citation needed? I could be wrong but it seems to me like, at least in the past year or so, fighters that miss weight lose more often than notAnd its worth mentioning that fighters that miss weight have a winning record in the UFC. Its a strategy.
Take the loss in the paycheck for an advantage in the cage, and if you win the vast majority won't remember or care you missed weight.
Tony knows his relevancy is on the line with this fight. Its a smart move to say publicly he won't accept the fight if Oliveria does not make weight, to take that strategy off the table.
How the fuck is tony in the wrong for expecting the other fighter to make weight?
Fine. No harm, no foul.Ever since Oliveira returned to LW in April 2017, the man has not missed weight. He missed weight trying to make 145. Tony should not worry about Oliveira missing weight for Saturday's fight.
They've fucked him over plenty after doing everything right, so how would this matter any different? He'd take his show money and refuse to fight?

I mean unless Ferguson been force feeding Oliveira it's not on tonyThis fight was already iffy with covid. It doesn’t need Ferguson contributing to it not happening.
Ferguson should try not to trip over any camera cables
