he just ran over his las opponent on the 31, how many more fights till the ufc signs him...dude is exiting as it gets, he’s probably a couple of fights away from the one title... then fight is on YouTube

He fought someone who isn't exactly a world beater.

Gary is a world class athlete but he needs to fight someone better. I think him vs Martin Nguyen would be a great fight for the title once he gets a couple more fights in. I dont know if I would care to see him in the UFC.

Why would you not care to see him in the ufc?

He’s just getting experience, it’s quite obvious he’s on another level than these guys he’s facing. But so we thought Eddie was, and look what happened to him

I wouldn't want to see him in the UFC either. The corporate culture at ONE seems much more his style. And with the way the UFC is working these days, better to stay at ONE if you want to fight consistently with legitimate paydays.

Yeah, he's definitely on another level. As much as I'd like to seem him fight better comp, he should keep fighting progressively better guys and improving his striking. If he goes over to the UFC, everybody is just going to avoid going to the ground and want to strike.

I'd like to see him fight better competition, but going to the UFC now would be a mistake. The UFC has zero ability to develop prospects, their model is throw guys in with the hardest opponents willing to take the fight and then totally ignore them if they lose. I think a much better way for guys to go, especially specialists like Garry, is to round out their skills in another league and then jump to the UFC when they can be assured of good paydays and making an immediate title run. Eddie Alvarez more or less did this, seems to be what Askren's doing as well. Even Conor was a very accomplished British regional champion before he set foot in the octagon. The UFC is a good place to be a star, but a terrible place to try and grow into one.

One FC is roided the fuck up

did you see what eddie look liked? he has always looked ripped, but this time, he looked unusually bigger... pretty sure he was on something too...

well kron is in the UFC, I really dont think Kron is going to suprass tonon in mma, tonon seems to have way better wrestling, seems to be more athletic and to be for real, I dont really think kron is that much better grappler.

well tbh it would be an insult t him if he wasnt he already is one of the bets grapplers in jiu jitsu on the planet so all he has t learn is good takedowns and some decent striking he has the very best coaches on the planet and doesnt have to even worka full time job

i like garry a lot but i dont see him being a top 5 guy ever i dont think he has the takedowns to get guys down at the top i hope he proves otherwise

krons a little better with fundamental jiu jitsu which tbh does translate better into mma krons style vs garrys but gary is more athletic better striking and takedowns so yeah i see garry doing better than kron kron i feel is a bit delusional i remember reading him saying he trains 0 striking and wrestling for his fights that hes here t prove that gracie jiu jitsu is all thats needed

who the hell doe she train with that he just dominate sin the gym that allows him to think thats a good idea? hemust not train with any mma guys at all and just brown and blacks no gi and in the gi

How long is he training MMA for? 2 years?

i think its his genetics yeah he hasnt trained that long but today 145 155 is such a deep division you gotta be freak of nature to be at the high levels i dont think garry genetically has the right gifts again for top 5 level
