Morrison was one of the few who donated to childrens charities and visited the sick in kids in the hospitals....he was as nice as they get both as a sportsman and human being ,he didnt die of Aids he died of drugs which amplified whatever was going on . He was a partier back in the day ,i wouldn't categorize that as a bad person .

I suspect he prob suffered alot of head trauma very early on. He wasn't even a legal adult fighting in the tough man circuits. You couple that with his shitty upbringing its kind of easy to see why he was so off his rocker. Not making excuses for him. Everyone has a choice. Just saying it explains quite a bit. If he had just accepted his illness, got on the straight and narrow and stayed on his meds he would certainly be alive and healthy
today and possibly be fighting bouts here and there overseas like him and Marcus Rhode did in Japan after his diagnosis. As a boxer I consider him one of the greats. Such a waste

He had an insane case of denial, he most likely really thought he wasn't hiv positive, the human psyche can do such insane things to try to heal itself, it sometimes does more harm than good imo.

No one dies of AIDS you die of infections and a fucked immune system so yeah safe to say he did of AIDS as much as you can die of AIDS
If he fucked other people without telling them he had AIDS and knew he had AIDS when he fought then he's a piece of shit allthough if he did take his AIDS drugs in the beginning then the chance to infect someone was probably low

They do but they also weaken the virus keep it repressed and decrease not only the chance of getting AIDS but the chance of giving HIV to others as well and they have been keeping Magic Johnson alive forever

Athletic /healthy ppl who keep their PH levels in the blood in check "oxygenated can out run the Virus ,which isnt really a Virus its a bacteria in the sense the hiv virus needs a welcoming invite to bind with the red blood cell its trying to invade ,one can simply maintain a cellular defense long enough that the body will eventually win.......this is one reason hiv in small cases dissapear with no explanation . There are MANY false positive results as well, and believe me when i tell you this the scientific community still doesnt know what exactly the anti bodies they are looking for that registers hiv,bc we already have other genetics that make hiv like cells which can trigger false positive tests.....if your wondering what makes me qualified to make such claims c my best friend is a leading researcher for cancer and such at Sanofi Labs in P.A and i know alot of insidenfo that would send shivers down your spine!

some people have thought that HIV was just a cofactor in people with 'thirdworldized" immune systems and in the days of the old cocktails that they used to use, lots of people claimed those were the real killer. Arthur Ashe had said once that he'd damaged his immune system taking some of the drugs used to control hiv. I think it's true that many, many of the people with hiv have done destructive things already to hurt their immune systems. My sister had AIDS but she also drank heavily and would sleep all night in the cold streets, doing things that might already compromise your immune system in any case. It's an interesting study and never has made a lot of sense but i've always thought you'd most likely have to be pretty self destructive to get it. Lyle Alzado and Miles Davis are a couple guys who were said to be on the downlow and died of AIDS also. Prince has the rumours still. The rumour with Prince was that he stopped taking his meds because of his religion and developed full blown aids before he could get control of it again. Just a rumour at this point.
