Today is f communists day

Communism doesn't mean a one party state. It's an economic system. China doesn't fit the model anymore.

lol at it's merely an economic system.

These people really can't come to sensible conclusions. As soon as you truly believe in marxist social justice, you're gone and ain't coming back.

That's pretty metal.

"We" didn't do shit about the Nazis until we were attacked.

Sure, let's have WWIII with China. I'm sure that will kill fewer people than China's communist regime already is.

Shit this is a funny post

Which people and who believes in marxist social justice? You're attacking straw men.

The fact is, if you have private property and an economy that produces billionaires and paupers, you aren't describing communism.

A single party state alone isn't an apt description of communism. That could describe an oligarchy,a monarchy, a theocracy just as well.

It sounds like you need to brush up on your political theory.

lol the information is already posted in the thread. Seriously they can't process any of it.

The left believes in marxist social justice.

What communism really means in practice is a one party/controlled opposition state or a dictatorship.

Well said.
You're on a forum where people are proud of how little education they have and are convinced legitimate journalism can't be trusted compared to their schizophrenic assumptions.

What's communism's kill count again?

The scary part about these posters is that they're programmed to vote for it.

I'm thankful it doesn't exist in America. That's for sure.

Soon, this will be considered "hate speech" and the authorities will be visiting agitators like you who are against the state.

China Joe - Harris 2020 - Stop the anti-Communist Hate Speech!

You can go back into your hole and continue hating America again in about 10 days.

You sound ridiculous calling anyone in American politics, let alone Joe Biden, a communist.

A remarkable 72% of Hungarians say that most people in their country are actually worse off today economically than they were under communism. Only 8% say most people in Hungary are better off, and 16% say things are about the same. In no other Central or Eastern European country surveyed did so many believe that economic life is worse now than during the communist era. This is the result of almost universal displeasure with the economy. Fully 94% describe the country’s economy as bad, the highest level of economic discontent in the hard hit region of Central and Eastern Europe. Just 46% of Hungarians approve of their country’s switch from a state-controlled economy to a market economy; 42% disapprove of the move away from communism. The public is even more negative toward Hungary’s integration into Europe; 71% say their country has been weakened by the process.

Pretty sure it's the EU they hate, no?

Not being a smart ass. I honestly think that's what the discontent is about, and what they are comparing unfavourably with Communism.

Last poll I read they were something like 78% in favour of being a part of the EU, at the same time over 90% of those participating voted against accepting migrants.

The thing is, there's discontent because the memory of a robust social safety net, lengthy paid for vacations and memories of the benefits of socialism is still fairly fresh in many people's minds. Having said that, I don't put much stock in those numbers for several reasons. People tend to think the grass is always greener or the other side, for one, for another that's not really the impression I get when talking to my dad who moved back to the old country last year or my cousins.

Nevermind that anything to do with the current Hungarian government and the will of those people is going to be represented as negatively as possible by Western media and Brussels lackeys. Think of it as the EUs version of TDS. Those racist, xenophobic Magyars must fall in line, but they never seem to, dammit!

“Yeah but that’s not REAL communism, that has never been tried!”
;)
This is a great comment because this is totally what the retards always say. Communism was the greatest natural experiment in the world history. Across all types of cultures, agrarian & industrial countries, communism always brings misery. Yet the leftist dipshits will indeed claim that REAL communism hasn't been tried. How there is any tolerance for Marxist idiocy now is just pathetic.

Having a wife who grew up soviet its interesting how the aren't as strongly pro capitalism as you would imagine esp considering they are pretty rich by world standards and very by local standards.

I think one of the reasons they fiercely defend communism today is because the Marxism is tied to all the rabid social justice ideologies they believe in.

Little do they know.... that capitalism is controlled by the communists!

It's what happens when half baked intellectuals occupy positions of power in the government, civil service, mass media, business and the educational system.

Maybe their issue is more properly with the market economy as directed by the EU.
They're not clamoring for free market capitalism independently of the EU (which would break their backs even harder), they want the people's socialist state back.
ML state made its subject fully dependent on the government like an overprotective mother. Once they've been let go, they don't know what to do because they were too dependent on the state making the choices for them.
They know exactly what to do, get ripped off and exploited by bankers. What else are they going to do with no economic sovereignty?
Better dead than red.
Given the capitalist response to covid, it looks like many of us are going to be testing out that maxim personally.

To be honest, I feel sorry for the sons of bitches who fought and believed in Communism, and ended up being betrayed by it. Atleast they had no pre-existing knowledge of how events would turn out.

Anybody who fights for that cause now, though, is an irredeemable fool. It's about as dead of an ideal as monarchy or theocracy at this point.
