To all the posters saying that "Du Plessis would have killed Chimaev in a street fight"

Consider the fact that Du Plessis only lasted as long as he did in that fight due to the "no hits to the back of the head" rule. That rule - along with no knees to a downed opponent - allows fighters to "game the rules" and it makes it a lot harder for fighters to get the finish of the ground.

Not to mention, a street fight is on concrete. Would not have been a good time for Du Plessis.

Regardless, both men should be respected.

Too many low IQ sherdogers.. I miss the old Sherdog.

Are people actually saying that? What an utterly ridiculous position to take lol

Also, there are no rounds or standups in a street fight...DDP would have been on the ground for the *entirety* of the fight under such circumstances.

Not to mention being stood up every five minutes for end of round or separated by that cunt Goddard.

Nah, Khamzat just worked DDP over in every way.

That wasn’t even competitive… Goddard tried to gift him a few pity stand ups and he laid back down when Khamzat told him to.

DDP just accepted Khamzats superiority over him, the remnants of his forced cringy fans are still coping

<mytea>

Only way Dricus beats Khamzat is if he has a baseball bat and even then, I’m not so sure… damn that was bad.
