It seems like people interested in the truth here are fighting with ghosts. For months, we hear people (IH included) asserting that there was no way enrollment numbers would reach their projections and that the demographic mix would be unfavorable, and the whole system was going to collapse. So it was noted in response to those fears after the data came in that, in fact, enrollments exceeded projections, the demographic mix was as expected, and the system is thriving.
So what was the response? "Oh, shit, I guess we were wrong. It's great to see that things are going better than we thought they would."

No. It was, "so what? It's bad that people are signing up rather than paying the fee." If people just oppose the law on principle, they should say that and stop wasting everyone's (that is, everyone who actually takes what others say at face value and cares about accuracy) time with all these phony issues.
