CBS Houston reported on Ortiz’s political views.

“For a person to become a billionaire, to be flat broke bankrupt,” Ortiz said, “to rebuild himself to be a billionaire and now to become almost the President of the United States, it’s amazing. He’s a hard worker. He can make America great again. That’s my vote for him”

Ortiz admits that the idea of Trump being the President of the United States had to grow on him.

“I’m a Trump guy. I wasn’t in the beginning, of course, I’m Mexican when he said we need to take all the Mexicans out of the United States, well good luck on that one. They’ll find a way to get back here anyways. But in the long run, I think he wants to bring money back to our country and with the debt that we are, I think he has an opportunity to do that.”

“It’s just not Mexicans that we have worry about,” Ortiz responded to Lopez about the border issue in America. “It’s the Muslims, it’s the radicals, that come in that have the opportunity to come in from [Mexico] to our country and do the thing with terrorism that’s hindering our country. We shouldn’t be afraid to walk around and look over our shoulders and some guy has a bomb in his pocket or something stupid.

“I think it needs to be taken care of and the President we have now did not do that job. I think, in my opinion, that Trump can help a lot better.”

OMG that is huge.

Tito's head, not the endorsement.

Tito just nailed all the main issues the next POTUS has to face.

Mexicans are a net plus to American society. Why anyone would want to round up and deport them (not the violent criminals), I'm not too sure. I don't think I'm for legalization/citizenship, but I don't mind the way things are right now.

For some reason, that doesn't surprise me.

With an endorsement like Tito Trumps got this

“For a person to become a billionaire, to be flat broke bankrupt,”

Trump was never flat broke banktrupt, he is especially adept at utilizing/exploiting bankruptcy laws to get out paying his debtors.

What is he talking about? Trump would tell him he was never bankrupt and was never flat out broke. Does Tito know something we dont?

ortiz has no idea what he is talking about. sounds like a trump supporter to me.

So you'd prefer they stay in a legal grey area where as long as they can keep their head down and not commit any crimes they can stay?

I didn't need further proof that Tito is a dipshit; I have his commentating videos to remind me of that.

Net plus lololol perhaps you are not aware of the 1950's and the term ugly Americans. Let's just say there were almost no Mexicans in the 1950's. The reality is once we opened our borders we went downhill. Our enemies know this which is why they opened them. Same reason they are opening Europe's borders now. The only difference between a Mexican and an arab is religion.

And culture, and customs, and values... that isn't to say one is any worse or better than the other, but the parallel you have drawn is tenuous.

And what is with people's obsession with viewing history through rose colored glasses - by every metric, American's today have a higher standard of living than they did in the 50s. Not to mention the significant strides in gender and racial equality that were conspicuously absent in the so called "golden age" of America.

Although I suppose if you prefer a time where coloreds still drank from different water fountains, and the solution to spousal abuse was a pear of dark sunglasses, then modern America may not be for you.
