News Titanic Tours Submersible missing in atlantic ocean

All this talk about the sub not withstanding the pressure wouldn't account for the knocking noises.

They heard the knocking every 30 minutes. That's a pretty even interval, like something that someone would do to let you know they're still alive.

My money is on power failure. That explains why the sub couldn't surface as well as why the communications system failed.

true, yet experts have said that they do not know if the knocking was from the sub. That the knocking could have been from a boat or boats passing by miles away.

heck,
The last knock could have been the sound of the sub imploding

It should be noted the crazy Submarine CEO is one of the passengers in the missing submarine.

At least he had enough faith in his own product to put his own life on the line.

I'm sure it has been mentioned at least 50 times in this thread. He is a CEO, like Elon Musk, who has confidence in their vision and won't accept that it might not be practical.

They have air until tomorrow

Or, one of them systematically eliminated the others within a few minutes of realizing they were stuck, and he's got another week's worth of air

Nobody is sick as you man or watch too many horror movies

Well, if I was in that submarine, I definitely would kill that CEO.

They can exclude whatever words they want. If it's not tourism, what would you call it?
That's a good question. They call it an expedition and that seems accurate but at the same time tourism is a broad term that might encompass an expedition. No one really calls astronauts tourists though.

USCG has statutory authority for Search and Rescue at sea, just because the USCG does not have submersibles does not mean partner agencies (most likely the US Navy) do not...that's what that statement means.

They're lining up other assests.

I've been on cases cases where our helicopter air support was from the US Marines...The case was still USCG responsibility

USCG need to send in this guy;)

I'd think the decaying bodies would not be good for the quality of air or oxygen
