How do you even suicide in this situation? It sounds impossible.
That’s if they have been sleeping and resting to conserve oxygen, I bet they went through a lot of that air in the first day or two screaming at each other for who’s fault it was. Possibly even a fight or two down there, using up a lot of that oxygen.*They have less than 20 hours of air left.
2.5tons (2,500kgs) per SQUARE inch is the seawater pressure at 3800meters down, yes.2.5 tons per cubic inch?
Interview with a Coast Guard expert.
I'm listening to it now. I'll post cliffs.

It sounds bad but it could be his way of coping, finding something to take his mind of the sad news.Stepson of Titanic submarine’s billionaire passenger Hamish Harding attends Blink-182 gig: ‘My family would want me to be here’

@Sara
Oh god.... you got to hear this for yourself guys...
At 8:40 - "the way the CEO runs his company is unique. He's on record saying he could have hired 50-year old white guys that were experts - former military guys - but he didn't think that would be 'inspirational.' So he decided to hire 26 year olds."
The Coast Guard expert continues - "I'd rather have the expert from an age standpoint. I don't care what their skin color is. I don't care what gender they are or any of that stuff. I want those who are most qualified if they're designing something I'm going down 13,000 feet in I want to know I'm going to be safe."
"So there definitely is some questions related to this CEO."
He looks to now be in his mid-50s, so give him the benefit of the doubt that was a very very old photo.The only picture I could find of that guy in uniform was as an e-3 or below on a ship for one tour. He then went public affairs and is now a politician according to his own website.
Maybe there's more but color me skeptical.
Buyer beware on the whole "expert" thing

@Thrawn33
From Bing....
'From 2003-2007, Judge was in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Adak from 2004-2005, and later in Miami as a public affairs specialist from 2005-2007.'
So yeah, an 'expert' is stretching it.
