News Tim Lane, Xtreme Couture coach found dead at 49

Mental illness is real.
Beneath the surface some people are in need of support.
Avenues for getting this should always be available.

Same just happened to a baseball player, Jeremy giambi, same age ish too

It is so much harder than you'd think (not you personally, anyone in general).
From personal experience, the American healthcare system makes you jump through so many hoops. They deny you refill requests for standard anti depressants, letting you suffer from withdrawals effects essentially till you do their dance.
Finding a psychiatrist or a psychologist is nearly impossible
It's basically, say you're going to kill yourself and get admitted to a inpatient facility or go to ER, where you'll wait forever and be given cookie cutter advice and probably just some meds and be sent on your way.
It's fucked.
I swear they bank on suicide as a necessity for society.
I'm going through one of the hardest times in my life and have had almost no help from any doctor worth a shit despite relentlessly trying.
There needs to be more action and less empty words.
I'm glad that mental health is finally being taken seriously, because it doesn't matter how macho, tough or physically strong you are. A fucked up brain and anxiety disorder is one of the scariest things you can go through.
If killing machines who are trained to be some of the toughest people on the planet are coming home from war and killing themselves over PTSD, anxiety and depression, it can destroy anyone's life.

Unfortunately the whole health care system is a combination of placebo's and guinea pig treatment. As long as society finds it better to avoid, shun, fire, hate, ignore, etc etc etc. those whom they don't understand most individuals will never crawl out of the holes from where they reside.

Suicide is always sad, but imo it's to be prefered to not chosing your own time of death,

While this thread is an awkward place for this comment. The subject is actually something that needs to be changed. If we can have people talk about the desire to kill themselves with it being a legitimate path we can then go forward with a solution where they get support from their friends, family, doctor, etc. or they get to do a respectful end rather than being forced to do a reckless illegal hidden ending. Right now too many people are stuck in la la land with no mouth to speak because nobody wants to be a part of it. It is just unacceptable by religion, by law, and by normality standards.

It's tough for someone that hasn't been through it to understand how debilitating depression can be. And well meaning people often say just go get help, not understanding that it's not always easy to do that.

And medication and therapy don't magically cure depression.

Hope you get through it man. I had severe depression last year and only recently, with the help of meds, have started to overcome it. But I live in China where it’s easy to get good medication for a reasonable price. If you’re going through hell, keep going.

I think part of the issue is there is a culture, especially among men and maybe more so among male atheletes that it's a sign of weakness and a stigma to seek help or talk about emotional or mental pain. This can contribute to the walls of silence and then doing somenthing like this becomes more of an option.

The sad thing is these depressive and suicidal states always wash over, they are temporary like every emotion. You find many stories of suicide attempt survivors and those who recover from depression who are so glad they didn't go through with the act and are grateful for the life they are living when they get themselves to a better place.

So having some support in those dark moments is sometimes all that's needed to get through.

Another xtreme couture coach has died?..

Rest in peace... suicide is a tough decision all around

Too much of a coincidence, not buying it..some weird luciferic activity going in there ..coaches found out or couldnt live with the guilt...and they were taken out
