Till: "I've never seen someone get so much **** for missing weight one time."

If you don't make weight you don't deserve to fight for the belt.

There are no rewinds in the fight game. A loss has a major impact on a fighter's career. Be professional and make weight and you won't get criticism.

he missed weight twice though and it was by a large margin.

Yup.

I already hate Darren Till for saying that. Fucking idiot. "Missing weight once" ... the guy missed weight twice by 4 & 6 pounds respectively. What a joke.

I give Yoel Romero a pass, because he barely missed weight against Whittaker, and would have made the 186 non-championship weight. But Till didn't even TRY to make 171.

I'm glad people are starting to see the light.

Weight cutting is bad enough, but extreme weight cutting is a complete bitch move.

Just fight

He'll miss weight, get to fight anyway for non-title, give up part of his purse and still make more money than he would being a nobody in MW. Dana will forgive him and he'll do it all again. The only saving grace would be if Tyron refused the fight, but Dana will make his life miserable. All the UFC understands is dollars. Not championships, belts, earning a title shot, realistic rankings etc. Just dollars. Until their joke enforcement of weight cutting regs costs them money they will not change a thing.

Man, this. Like I said, it's become a great business decision in the UFC to just miss by whatever you want to miss by.
