Tiger versus Bear fight(Video)

Bears are underrated IMO. Hard to believe many would favor a big cat or silverback over a grizzly, in a stand-and-fight situation. The only way a big cat is taking an asult grizzly is via ambush. Even then it would have to be a smaller/weaker one.

Sloth Bear haha, they are only vegetarians and insect eaters.

Bears are very different, so the Tiger vs Bear arguments are stupid because it depends what species of Bear.

Adult Tiger would kill a Koala Bear, Panda Bear and a lot of Black Bears.

Polar Bear kills Tiger easily, would rip it to shreds with ease.

Grizzly Bear and Tiger would be a good fight but Grizzly would come out on top most of the time.

Kodiak Bear kills Tiger after decent scrap.

I just base that on the 1840's, 1850's, 1860's circus shows they used to do where they had Lions, Tigers, Panthers, Leopards, Grizzly Bears, Polar Bears and Black Bears and made them all fight. Polar Bear fucked everyone else up pretty badly, and Grizzly was dominant too but had some close good fights with Tiger.

A siberian tiger is a better ambush hunter so it is not going to benefit from retreat or camouflage in a closed, confined chamber fight. In a chamber with limited space I will favor a grizzly bear as it is a better fighter. In an open area with dense forest or jungle I would favor a siberian tiger. I personally do not get the fascination with all of the hypothetical predator fight scenarios though.

I do not give a silverback gorilla a substantial chance against a fully grown grizzly bear or siberian tiger. A silverback gorilla would be foolish to pursue either in a confrontation.

True, there are liveleak videos showing them eating peoples faces when they are still alive. There's absolutely nothing they can do either.

It's been proven through actual fights in the past tigers are better fighters than lions.

The tiger seemed to have him but that was the mark hunt of sloth bears,and in the end it wasnt worth it for the tiger to keep going. What struck me was how strong the bear was. The tiger was bigger but as soon as the tiger let go of his bite the bear shoved him away like he was a laundry bag.

This video is purposing a lion is somehow a better/bigger Alpha than a tiger and would take down that bear and kill it.

Bro I just woke up so I dont want to make a long post but just take my word for it. Tigers son lions in every single way. Tigers exist as solo hunters. Each tiger lives to fight and kill. Lions live as pack hunters preying on the weak.

They have the physical tools, but don't have a fighter's mindset. Their force production relative to their weight is insane. Their fangs, and use of their arms, and general mobility would also help. But it's mostly just for show. A 1000lb brown bear would absolutely murk one in a fight. Too big, too durable, too many weapons.

A silverback vs a bengal tiger is an A+ superfight. It wouldnt take many GNP shots from the gorilla to kill the tiger, but a tigers instinct when it gets pinned down is to grasp the opponent with front claws and then use rear claw to shred open their stomach. If the tiger can avoid those thunderous shots the gorilla is going to be turned into shredded beef.

Grizzly/Kodiak bears can get massive with thick hides and are relentless if provoked.

If the tiger was stealthy as fck and sneak attacked it....maybe, but it would still have to finish the job and grizzlies have a very high threshhold for pain.

If its head to head, i just dont see how the tiger wins.

One significant issue here is that big cats tend to shy away from these kinds of confronations much more than animals like bears do because there hunting techniques tend to need peak physical performance. Scavengers on the other hand tend to be naturally much more willing to confront other predators, they need to in order to eat and are generally are able to deal with injury better.

lol I remember there used to be teams on youtube of lion vs bear fights. People would be like " TIGERS ROOOOL!! LIONS SUCK!! A FEMALE TIGER WOULD WOOP A MALE LION!"
