Who in the MCU can give Sentry a good fight if not win? Captain Marvel? Thor?

Scarlet Witch with That Look in her eye could give Sentry/Void a good fight.

Captain Marvel is another contender. So is Galactus. Lady Death from Agatha All Along. The Celestials.

Full Training Camp Thor would land some heavy shots, but I doubt he can get the KO. Hulk if Marvel ever let him grow his balls back.

Possibly Franklin Richards; it all depends on how much they Nerf him. Comic Book Franklin made Galactus tap to strikes.

Which did you like more: Thunderbolts* or James Gunn's The Suicide Squad?

I love The Suicide Squad and this may just be recency bias, but I'm giving the edge to Thunderbolts*. The characterization was much deeper. The team dynamic was more satisfying to the point where it felt like they were a family (albeit dysfunctional) by the end. And the themes they explored were more complex and meaningful.

Thunderbolts since Harley Quinn ruined it for me

Sitting in the theater waiting for the movie to start. This is the first time since maybe Guardians 2 I've seen any movie twice in the theater.
How was your second viewing? Notice anything new the second time?

It was just as good the 2nd time. I was able to appreciate the films deeper meaning a lot more the second time.

Another thing I observed from the multiple viewings was that I like the opening sequence. This is just a very small thing but I've learned to appreciate it. Starting with a close up of Yelena with her eyes closed and when she opens them, she just looks bored and depressed. Then we get a wide shot of the Merdeka 118 skyscraper and the city on the background which immediately puts you in a cinematic frame of mind. I love the subtle music that accompanies the opening sequence with a subdued version of the main theme playing. The brief corridor fight was artistically shot as it played around with light and shadow reflecting Yelena's state of darkness as well as foreshadowing the Void.

The opening shot of the movie started with a close up shot of Yelena and the ending of the movie closed with Yelena's face. Her eyes are closed and when she opens them, she gives a deep sigh of relief. She looks slightly optimistic and smiles slightly, contrasting to her dark mood from the opening shot.

I mean she created the Hex out of grief. I can't even imagine what would happen when confronted with her past in the Void. It would be like Bob's x100000.
It is still unclear if super powers work inside the Void. I'm just assuming that they don't work.

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm interested to see if that happens in one of the Avengers movies. If Doom gets trapped in the Void or something like that.

Speaking of the Void, they've released a behind-the-scenes featurette of the Void space, highlighting the practical effects and sets.

Thunderbolts' score is crazy good. I've been championing the music for the film in my review as well as several posts throughout this thread. Now, somebody finally made a breakdown video of it. It's a great watch if you're into music dissection.
