Sure, Roan's BJJ is better than Burns but Burns was doing a great job well before he submitted Roan and deserves credit for having displayed excellent BJJ and subbed Roan. It wasn't just luck, it wasn't just that Roan was stunned from a strike. How many excuses can be made for Roan? He got subbed by what appears to be a n advanced Blue Belt who will probably be promoted to purple soon.
 
Yep, Burns' guard was giving Carneiro all sorts of trouble long before the triangle. Carneiro never really got in any kind've a rhythm and Burns was always the agressor, whether he was on his back or not.
