How come one will often see white southsiders, Asians running with blacks, and even whites cliqued up with bloods/crips, yet there is no such thing as a black, Hispanic, or Asian/other in a white gang? Is it because both sides are equally bigoted? Or is there a long and ugly history of superiority based on skin color reverberating in the conscience of some people and not so much in others?

Equality has to be constantly enforced, while hierarchies evolve naturally.
Sure, societies are better when "equality before the law" exists, but even in very democratic societies that's the best it can achieve. outside of that, equality is nowhere to be seen even in the best of places.
And no leftist american government ever thought America was equal to Papua New Guinea or Slovenia.
It's a nice thing to talk about, for PR, but it's a fantasy. Every person with a 80+ IQ understands this.
