Thoughts on Couture's Workout...?

I like it as a warmup, Training for Warriors has a similar circuit they advertise as a warmup
 
In the beggining of that video Randy said himself that it isn't for strength, and that if you take a body builder and put him through that routine he'll puke- so it's a different kind of workout than just strength (obviously cardio and muscular endurance)


I didn't do much research on him but this can't possibly be the only thing Couture does, can it

On other videos, Randy does plyo. On the really old videos (training for Tito) he did Olympic lifts.




I agree on the problem with same weight/different body parts. I found that with the rows I wasn't getting anywhere near a workout with the same weight I could do with presses. Not to mention deadlifts and squats.

I guess the idea is that it's non-stop.
