Plus more of Jaime Alexander isn't a bad thing. Especially in tight leather pants.

Welp, she'll probably be Lady Not Appearing in this Film, the rest of the Warriors 3 probably not around either. So Thor 3 will be Thor, Loki and an new cast.

If they bring back Kat Dennings she better show tits.

Her tits and Skarsgård's bare ass wont be back.

No Jamie Alexander makes me a sad panda.

But hopefully if this flick is just focusing on Thor, we might finally get to actually see Thor be a true bad-ass. He is basically the strongest hero on the Avengers, and yet he is usually just a joke character.

Kevin Feige Explains Why Natalie Portman is Not in THOR: RAGNAROK

Natalie-Portman-Thor-Ragnarok-Dragonlord.jpg

Natalie Portman not showing up in the next Thor movie, Thor: Ragnarok, isn’t news. The explanation for Portman’s absence hasn’t be fully revealed yet, though, and that’s something Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige got into a little bit during his recent appearance on the Empire Film Podcast.

In the first two Thors, Portman played Dr. Jane Foster, an astrophysicist who discovers Thor (Chris Hemsworth) after he‘s banished to Midgard (Earth, to you Midgardians) by his angry dad-god (Anthony Hopkins). The two strike up a friendship and then later a romance, drawn to one another by their mutual interest in outer space and also their mutual hotness. (Can you blame them?)

There wasn’t any kind of breakup or explanation for why Foster would disappear at the end of Thor: The Dark World, but Portman’s a no-show in Ragnarok. So why no Port, man?

“There are only a couple of scenes on Earth in this movie; 80 to 90 percent takes place in the cosmos,” Feige explains. Thor: Ragnarok opens in theaters on July 28, 2017.

THOR: RAGNAROK Adds Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban; Character Roles Revealed

Press Release: Two-time Oscar®-winner Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine) joins Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok as the mysterious and powerful new villain Hela, along with Jeff Goldblum (Independence Day: Resurgence) who joins the cast as the eccentric Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson (Creed) who will bring the classic hero Valkyrie to life on the big screen, and Karl Urban (Dredd) who will add his might to the fray as Skurge.

Rounding out the cast for the film is three-time Oscar®-nominee Mark Ruffalo (Spotlight), reprising his role of Bruce Banner/the Hulk from Marvel’s The Avengers and Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.

“The continuation of the epic Thor franchise will be powerful and unique, and with the additions of Cate, Jeff, Tessa, Karl, and Mark to the cast we have the makings of his most dangerous and heroic adventure yet,” said Producer Kevin Feige. “The sheer, raw talent each of these actors brings to the screen can’t be quantified. Having any one of them join the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be an honor, and having all of them is incredible."

Thor’s new cast members join returning stars Chris Hemsworth in the title role for the fifth time; Tom Hiddleston as Thor’s adversarial, adopted brother, Loki; Golden Globe® and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Idris Elba as the Asgardian sentry, Heimdall; and Academy Award®-winner Sir Anthony Hopkins again portraying Odin, Ruler of Asgard.

Thor: Ragnarok, the third installment of Marvel’s popular Norse Super Hero, is directed by Oscar®-nominated filmmaker Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows, Hunt for the Wilderpeople). Kevin Feige will produce the film, joined by executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Victoria Alonso, Thomas M. Hammel and Stan Lee.

Oh shit. New casting includes:

Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster

Karl Urban as Skurge

We also have confirmation that Cate Blanchett is playing Hela and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie.

There was a seemingly glaring part in the Dark World where it looked like Sif and Jane were about to become rivals for Thor's affection, then the movie totally didn't do that and wasted the Warriors Three.

Not sure why else they went that route except Portman's star value.

Dark world missed alot of opportunities

I hadn't realized it but yeah, how could you make a THOR movie without Karl Urban? A good third of his catalog, he already looks like he's playing some kinda Asgardian.

Or ass guardian.

I was a big supporter of Idris playing Heimdall (and has been great), and Jordan playing Torch (he was perfect, the writing just sucked), and I'm even down for Bond....Black Bond, but I'm going to put my foot down on this casting for Valkyie. Nothing to do with race, it's just try hard and feels inauthentic.
You're cool with it because Art Adams gave us Storm Thor.

Surprised to see you supported jordan as torch. That movie tried to hard to be different. Everything about ff was changed. By changing storms race you had to change alot of the orIginla back story. Deviating to far from the source material. That's always what bugs me

Thor vs. Dredd?

Want this to be good , but Thor standalone hasn't translated to the best movies despite having Tom Hiddleston as a villain / wildcard
