Crazy how he has to get more jacked to play The Hulkster than he did to play The God of Thunder.

please tell me they cover the period with NWO Hogan too. Would be funny to see Hemsworth with that Superstar Billy Graham-copped beard Hogan was rocking in that era.

I’m sure the movie is just about 80s/early 90s Hulk rise to superstardom but it would be great if it went to the wcw run too.

I wouldnt be supprised if it ends with Wrestlemania 3.

for sure that’s the logical endpoint. They should do a sequel though if it’s well received. Stuff with the steroid trials in the 90s and jumping ship to Turner land would be rife for a movie treatment.

Definitely has to be a biopic about McMahon done one day too.

Indeed, both a natural ending end leaving room for a sequel that most recent bioepics don't.

Rumor: Matt Damon Reportedly to Return in Taika Waitit's THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER

C1ZHRQh.jpg

Matt Damon made a brief appearance in Thor: Ragnarok, and it looks like he might be set to return for Love and Thunder.

Though no major U.S. outlet has confirmed the casting yet, News.com.au is reporting that Damon and his family recently arrived in Sydney, Australia to begin quarantining at a private facility before he makes his way to the set to film his scenes for Taika Waititi's sequel.

The site doesn't have any details on Damon's role, but he portrayed "Fake Loki" in the God of Mischief's hilariously self-indulgent play in Ragnarok, so there's a chance he's set to reprise that role for another humorous cameo. Of course, it's also possible he's set to play a completely different character with a more substantial part.

In addition to Chris Hemsworth, Thor: Love and Thunder will Natalie Portman return as new God of Thunder Jane Foster, while Tessa Thompson will also reprise her role as Valkyrie. It was recently revealed that Christian Bale will portray the villainous Gorr the God Butcher, and it's also been confirmed that director Taika Waititi will once again provide the voice of Korg.

Several of the Guardians of the Galaxy also look set to appear, and there are rumors that Beta Ray Bill might feature in some capacity.

Karen Gillan Confirms Nebula to Appear in Taika Waitit's THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER

K0xDRqo.jpg

Thor: Love and Thunder will introduce the Mighty Thor (Natalie Portman's Jane Foster), Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, and even bring back the Guardians of the Galaxy. While it initially looked like just a couple members of the team would be part of Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok sequel, it's now become clear that we're going to see every single one of the A-Holes...well, aside from Gamora!

Her return is likely being saved for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but it seems Nebula has decided to stick around and continue working with the rest of the team in Thor: Love and Thunder.

During a recent Instagram Story Q&A, a fan asked Karen Gillan whether she's wearing a wig in preparation for her role as Nebula in the movie. She responded with, "I'm not, this is the real deal. This is my hair. I cut it the other day in preparation for Nebula, so that we don't have to get so much hair into the bald cap because I have so much hair, it's unbelievable. It's just so thick."

Right now, we don't know whether the Guardians will have a leading role in Thor: Love and Thunder or just a cameo appearance, but it's going to be fun catching up with the team before Vol. 3.

James Gunn will return to direct that movie once he's finished working on The Suicide Squad spinoff Peacemaker, and if nothing else, the next instalment of the Thor franchise will deliver our first look at the next stage of Groot's evolution (rumor has it he'll be "King Groot" in Vol. 3).

Didn't remember Matt Damon in a Thor movie.

He's the actor playing Loki in the play at the start of Ragnarok along with Sam Neil and Helmsworth's brother Luke.

Nebula does seem like a good fit to Waititi's bantering putdown style to me as would the Guardians generally be.

Hopefully they will use Portman becoming "Thor" as a chance to shift her characters personality as well.

Damn. As a Scandinavian, a woman named "Thor" is the equivalent of her being named "Clive" or "Hank" or something in the Anglosphere. It takes some getting used to!

Plenty of interesting female characters in nordic mythology they could have gone with instead, but oh well, here's hoping for a good movie.

Also, Sif with dark hair... just not right.

I bought a Walt Simonson Thor comic collection on iTunes and seems like Sif was horny for Beta Ray Bill for some reason.

Nebula, Draxx & Mantis deserved their own show.

I don't know who I'd want to play Mr. Furley. Deserves a poll, imo.

I vote Matt Damon returns as Beta Ray Bill
I have a feeling it will go like this:

Bad guy Bale seeks out to kidnap the gods. He grabs Loki. However, instead of grabbing the real Loki, he kidnaps (or kills) the actor playing Loki.

This alerts Thor to shenanigans. Thus, the plot of the movie starts.

You think it's only Bill's face that resembles a horse?;)
