Maybe you should watch Holm vs. Pennington again. Rocky had no trouble at all landing punches, and Ronda has very effective striking and legit power.

Rondas ego has been real big as of late so its a possibility shell try to box with Holm in the beginning but after getting beat up in the first round I see her going back to her bread and butter and winning the fight

Holm barely won a split decision. Rocky wasn't outclassed at all.

Baars 3 losses were all tko losses. Credentials in other sports don't matter in mma. Derek Brunson out wrestled Yoel Romero.

You are right that these are different sports and all, but Holly's standup is lightyears ahead of Rondas. She's shown that in MMA

The problem is her power is in her kicks. 5 of her 6 KOs have come from kicks, and Rousey excels and closing the gap (although she gets punched in the face doing so). RR will just rush her to close the gap and clinch, which will negate Holm's kicking power. As for punching power, Holm has no real punch power, she is more of a volume striker. I dont see how a judoka can hurt or even do anything on the feet against a girl who was considered the best female boxer on the planet at one point in time. I know this is MMA, but these girls are very good at what they do.

In my mind a boxer would only have a puncher's chance v a judoka.

I don't see how Amanda Nunes who was outgrappled by Alexis Davis and Sarah D'Alelio could possibly stop the takedowns of an Olympic silver medalist in wrestling

I don't see how Henry Cejudo the Olympic gold, GOLD medalist in wrestling could possibly have any trouble taking down some guy named Chico Camus

I don't understand why people think this. I'm not saying she isn't arrogant, but even in the Bethe fight she landed a trip. No matter what Bethe said after the fight, when she went down, and rolled back up, that was because RR tripped her. RR isn't an idiot. She will close the gap and win the fight. Even if she kept it standing, when she bull rushes (like she always does), she has much more punching power than Holm, and if Pennington had no trouble landing on Hold, I can't see why RR would have any trouble landing either.

Ronda could (and probably will) knock out Holm under MMA rules. Holm's entire game depends on patience, moving, and keeping & measuring distance and setting things up - usually the big head kick. With Ronda, there is no distance. The entire fight is short, wild & chaotic and takes place in a phone booth.
