Crime This is what our DOJ is doing now.

So, the guy that threw a sammy at agents and then was chased in a hilarious scene, was just acquitted of all charges. This is what the DOJ is up to. How many millions of dollars did this cost tax payers? One of the agents testified that, "I smelled the onions....and the mustard, as the sandwich exploded". This is clown shit. Another faceplant for an inept administration.

A grown man has a temper tantrum and throws something at law enforcement and that is ok?

It's absurd. Making people feel wrong because they have a different taste n anything is horrible. It makes people feel like they are doing something wrong.
Never stamp out other people’s joy.

Except those who like anything other than medium rare.

While a felony charge is ridiculous, he did throw a sandwich at a federal agent, which is a crime and not something we should be allowing or encouraging. Imagine if a federal agent threw a sandwich at a protester- you all would be screeching for him to be fired and charged with civil rights violations. Who in the fuck wants to be covered in smelly ass food fixings all day? It would make me sick to smell that all over myself and I would chase him down and arrest him and hopefully, he would resist and get a legitimate and justified ass beating. And this was an example of jury activism which is also a bad precedent to celebrate.

So this jury is saying its legal to throw things like food at the police. Then it must be legal to throw things like food at anyone..
No, they say the guy was not guilty of misdemeanor assault, with the grand jury rejecting the even more ridiculous charge of felony assault.

It also didn't help that the officer very clearly perjured himself in court.

Do you think it still rises to misdemeanor assault?

And why would we need to imagine federal agents throwing sandwiches when we've seem them do far worse and get cover from the government for blatantly improper or even illegal behavior?

Also the bolded part was the officer perjuring himself.

Yes he deserves an assault charge as it was assault. I dont believe it would be a felony unless it was because ot was an officer in legal performance of his duties add on. I can see that.

Retards ITT mad the sandwich guy got off and fuming with "oh so it's ok to throw food and assault law enforcement then!!"....No. But maybe direct your anger at the appropriate party (Jeanine Pirro) for overcharging and being a utter failure at her job.

What do you expect from a Fox News person who is that incompetent at her job...I'd be embarrassed af if I was Trump hearing about this news

It shouldn't have been a felony, but it was clearly misdemeanor assault with Jury nullification.

It sets bad precedent to tell people that they can assault people so long as its in a jurisdiction that will nullifying your crime

Pull your knickers up. This was a misdemeanor that should have been taken care of on a community level.

Then why did the feds try for a felony first?

And no thoughts on the officers perjury?

I guess because he was an officer in the performance of his duties. Sounds like an over reach.

The perjury was what the officer say the sandwich " exploded on him" thats more a matter of opinion on how much food was on him.
