I think the jurors are liberal because they nullified the law. Those other on-serious crimes that I mentioned get charged all the time.
They didn't nullified the law, they just didn't believed it was the serious crime they accused him of.

This seems like an obvious case of "I don't care what the law is". And those verdicts seem to mostly come from liberal cities.

Is it assault? If it is then they nullified the law by finding him not guilty.


He was charged with a misdemeanor - a guilty verdict wasn't going to send him to jail

You know the moment they put cuffs on you, you are being detained and unless you lawyer up immediately they can extend that stay for at least overnight, which IMO is more than fit punishment for a fucking sandwich.
