This is how prime Fedor would have armbarred Cormier (PICS)

It's not even about DC for them, it's just Jones fans. Fedor the HW > Jones the LHW. Sorry boys

Yes. Let's act like he wouldn't gameplan specifically for Fedor's submission game. Cormier is an entirely different planet than Coleman, he wouldn't get arm barred so easily. I understand you love Fedor but be realistic kid.
Kid? LOL. Son Im 34 years old and I can pretty much guarantee Ive been watching this sport a lot longer than you.
Now I do think Cormier would fight a little different vs Fedor, which is why I phrased my post the way I did, but I guess your English skills don't reach far enough to understand that.

Regardless of whether Cormier were to patch that up a bit if he fought Fedor, the fact that he fights that way even vs people of lesser submission skills shows a weakness in his game. Don't leave yourself wide open because everyone nowadays has trained some BJJ.

Don't backpedal, son.

Fedor gets wrekt by DC.

Cormier blitzed TRT Bigfoot in minutes. He would drop fedor in the first round and gnp him into oblivion.

Lol at thinking fedor could Zulu someone of Cormier skills. Maybe if fedor could get past Bigfoot we would of seen this fight. In the end he just got smashed.

An entire different planet yet makes the exact same mistake countless times.

Redhawks, my dear pupil. You haven't changed a bit.

All I know is it would be a damn good fight.

No, Fedor does not get wrecked, and I didn't backpedal, you are just too dense for basic English. Hell, you cant even spell wrecked right, son.

I'm out boys.

Don't destroy Redhawks too bad, he's my student. I still have faith in him.

Cheers.

Redhawks is like the teenager that should be a student to everyone but thinks he knows too much to bother learning.

Fedor would come fresh outta the Cold War era about two decades behind time and kick his ass looking like Igor Vorchynchyn, with that crazy ass haircut from 1987 that his grandmother gave em

Nah son, he gets wrekt. Mounted by Hunt and back taken by Mark Coleman lol it'd be a wrap for Fedor

The guy coming from one of the best camps in the world wouldn't gameplan and train how to defend the armbar.

No training Fedor could do would keep him from getting tossed

Prime Fedor is still the most over rated fighter in the whole history of MMA, fought a who's who of nobodies, Hong Man Choi for gods sake, now he's fighting Maldonado?? WTF. Got battered by Bigfoot, Ko'd by Dan Henderson (a middle weight), struggled against Brett Rogers, a novice, opted to Fight Ishii, a five fight novice, he fought Singh Jaideep, a 2 fight novice, what the hell for? Took on a 40 year old Jeff Monson, who was going nowhere. In his so called prime, he fought Matt Lindland, a middleweight, Crocop lasted the distance with him, he got exposed pretty soon after. Before Crocop he fought Tsuyoshi Kohsaka all but a light heavyweight with a record of 26-16, 2 fights previous he fought Naoya Ogawa a 7 fight novice, I could go on.

When you actually look at his record, it's padded as hell, and the top guys on his sheet were very limited on the whole. Big Nog is probably his best win, but there's quite a list of guys who have beaten him. This 'Prime Fedor' horse shit ignores all the meaningless fights he had and doesn't recognise the poor quality of opponent he faced. The Myth of the Russian Emperor is just that, a myth..

When Fedor fought, most of the HWs he fought were top ranked at the time. People do get older. That is what happened to them. So of course they aren't as good as they were when they were in their prime. Everyone but you seems to understand this.
