They can build amazing things without any red tape and they build them fast. And they're getting better and better every year.

A few years ago you couldn't find a single positive thing about China. I don't know if it is just me but it feels like so many people have woken up in the last few years to the fact that USA is collapsing and other places aren't nearly as bad as our propaganda machine made them out to be. Still prefer raising my daughter here because I do think the education system there is far too strict but I will have her learn Mandarin because I just can't see a future where it would not be useful.

YouTube made me realize how beautiful China is. Honestly the places they have are pretty much unmatched in epic scale of things.

They also finally started building insane steps through mountains for local people and tourists. You would never see me crossing or climbing the steps and roads they venture on though. Super scary

This reminds me of an old Joe Rogan podcast where his guest was talking about roads in the US versus Singapore. Joe couldn’t believe it when he found out Singapore’s roads are way better.

My old man told me a story about working in China. A tender was bringing them into port from the ship and they were surrounded by Chinese in little boats trying to sell them stuff. One of the chinese blokes got bumped and went overboard where he was struggling to swim. 3 guys including my dad went overboard to assist. Got the dude into their tender and helped him recover his boat.

Next day they got called in to the contractors offices in town to meet some suit. Give their names and get sent up a massive elevator. Feeling pretty good about saving a locals life they think they're in for a high five and maybe a bottle of whiskey.

They get into this rich looking Chinese fellas office who's scowling at them. Then he stands up and let's rip. "WHAT DA FUCK U THINK U DOING, U FUCKONG STUYPID? WHAT HAPPEN IF YOU INJURE?? YOU, VERY EXPENSIVE, HIM? 3 FOR 1 DOLLAR"

Then he just sends them off .

With that kind of attitude towards lower socio economic citizens they can build things on time and under budget.

The Chinese continue to move to the USA, along with Canada, Australia, New Zealand and various European countries. But go ahead and tell me how wonderful China is.

"continue to move to USA" is a meaningless statement - China has a population of 1.4 billion people, with those numbers of course they will always have a certain number of people leaving the country.

I don't know if china is wonderful nor have I said that (I personally wouldn't live there because I have 0 in common with their way of life) - I've only said that China caught up to USA so Chinese residents have less reason to move to the west in search of better life.
