Things that are overpriced.

Nothing is overpriced. It's just priced at what the market will bear.

If you think something is expensive, blame all the assholes who thoughtlessly buy at that price because they've got to have it regardless.

Also, pussy is overpriced.

I already addressed this point in the OT.

Someone had already stated shaving razors. They are very expensive for being plastic with a small sliver of cheap steel. Also ink cartridges for printers are very expensive.

I agree with razors, i once bought a package of Indian razors that were literally at something like 5-7 cents a piece (cant remember the exchange rate at the time), these gave me the cleanest shave ever.

Hotel rooms. Nothing worse than paying $150 to rent a bed. Especially when on vacation and are hardly going to be in the room.

AirBnB ftw

I personally feel that not counting Villas with services, $300 per night at a 5/6 star hotel while indeed expensive, it's still acceptable. Depends on how you enjoy your vacations really. Those that travel and sight see alot and only go back to sleep, it's definitely overpriced. But some people uses the facilities alot and relax and chill in bed.

Just something I can share. The VIP room of a certain hotel in my country costs 20k+ per night. Three Bed rooms, if I remember correctly, might be two. Karaoke room, Spa room, big ass living room with 6 ~ 8 massage chairs.

I came to post Diamonds due to controlled supplies instead of market & demand but TS already mentioned it.

I abhor paying for hotels. Typically I'll need a few during a vacation but I'll do my best to avoid it as the point of a vacation IMO is to go out and explore and do shit. If I'm just gonna sit in a room or something I can do that at home.

lmao @ all the poor people itt

Shocked to find you in this thread

You bring up a good point. If you are staying at a resort or a villa just chilling in the resort areas and what not, then I can see it being worth it to pay for a nice place.

For me.. I go out to San Diego once a year and find a place on AirBnb for like $50 a night because I'm not doing anything but sleeping in that place.

I'm going to London in March and found a place in the South bank right near the Eye for $59 a night and place in Oxford Circus for $70 a night through AirBnB. Again, I see no need to pay $150-200 a night on hotel in London. I'm going to try to spend as much time as possible outside.

Guys complaining about razors... safety razors are a great investment and you will save money. Your wallet and face will thank you.

Air plane tickets are overpriced. Specially when there aren't a lot of airlines competing against each other. And don't get me started on that scam known as first class. I love to fly first but I only do it when I have points, I would never pay 10k on a ticket.

personal trainers

private lessons of most any kind.

Everything is overpriced nowadays. A better subject would be what's not overpriced. A McChicken is frickin 2 bucks now. They don't even have a dollar menu anymore. It's a "value meal" now.

healthcare costs

because its not an informed and willing transaction. you NEED their product now, then they determine how much theyre going to overcharge you afterwards and just make up whatever price they want

its not like you need an ambulance, so you have time to compare costs for which hospital you want to go to

Where I live cheese is overpriced. I don't know why exactly. Guess it's just taxed to death here. It's a great mystery to me.
