Basically I posted a gif and nothing else. Apparently writing a half-assed sentence somehow makes it fine.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many is a gif worth?Basically I posted a gif and nothing else. Apparently writing a half-assed sentence somehow makes it fine.

You should've just power cleaned the damn thing!
Hey belph, im starting cleans but im doing it one a week.
I would fall under the novice category right now, but im trying to get back to my old strength level.
I was wondering what some good assistance exercises would be. I currently do
Hang power cleans as my main
High pulls and power jerks as my assistances, but maybe their too high in intensity to be assistances? Could you help me out with them. Thanks

I love high-hang full cleans. They teach you to really get back, explode, get the arms around and pull yourself under the bar before doing that. Actually, everything from the very high hang has helped me tremendously.
As to assistance PCs are fine, clean pulls, if done correctly, of course are fine and front squats (puased?) are nice. Belph is right about the power jerks.
Damn son, you are getting strong. Gotta get my game on!
you imagine the dump that guy had to take later?
yikes....
o yeah, nice 170x3
That's my only problem with high pulls.
Thanks, Pink. It's the monster. It's gotta be.
Worth it.
Thanks. I'm hoping to catch up to you.
Squat
300x5
330x3
365x3(PR. First two reps were smooth and fast. Third rep felt like hell. I fucked up, I needed a small bit of breath and to reset my feet, but I threw caution to the wind.)
320x3(Beltless, Legs are gassed. And I'm light headed.)
Jerk
220x1
Lol.
Good Squatting, Belph.:icon_chee
Why did you get the Yellow Card, kid?
I'd Clean more, obviously. That's pretty much why I missed 130 so badly, practice is essential. I'd replace the Hang PC's to hang cleans, And I'd probably drop the high pulls. At least for now, if you want to pull a heavier weight Deadlift or something. Power jerks are a fine assistance movement for jerks. If you're just looking to improve your clean I wouldn't bother.
