I am taking a small break from the barbell lifts today. Eating ice cream and all of that stuff.
I'm taking a small break from Singles; I'm starting to get some pain in my elbows. So I'm just running 'pure' Juggernaut three times a week, rather than the 2 day split which includes 5/3/1 and Singles.
I may try some 1RM's after New Year.
What are you going to try to hit ?
I want a BW(at least)Bench for several Reps next year. Deadlift I want at least twice BW(do-able since it's my best Lift by far). I hope to nail 1.5 on the Squat and BW Military as well.
Chad Wesley Smith is competing in the IPL World's tonight. I think he's trying for a 2300 Total. He trained for it using a new system called 9 Day Work Week. The ebook is due out soon.![]()
I think if you can get a BW military your bench will be a bit more than just BW for reps. So will you be using Chad Wesley Smith new program ?

If it's usable for someone like me, who has no interest in competing in Powerlifting, then yes I will be trying 9 Day. If it's too specialized, for example lots of Board Pressing, training with Bands etc, I'll just stick to Juggernaut.
