Nah. Thought Condit won. Thought that went the wrong way, and most agree with me. But it wasn't a "robbery" because Condit winning was still a 48-47 score with many close competitive rounds, and no one is going to make excuses claiming Lawler "ran".

Not close to the same. Now, if one of the judges had scored it 49-46 in either direction, I'd have a beef. Very close fights being scored very closely against how I see it is generally not an actual definition of a robbery, but certainly is the Sherdog definition.

Anyway, I agree. After the Diaz fight, his record was 28-5, and most of his wins were by stoppage. The guy was an absolute savage.

Go rewatch the fights. Many dubious ones against unknowns or fighters already on skids. Once he started facing the elites his striking seemed to lose all power and he was quickly exposed as never being that good anyway.

Glad to see him going back to being a barista.

Reminds me of the Diaz bros in a way - strong on the feet, good cardio and dangerous jitz but kinda physically weak and lacking in wrestling. Was a fun fighter at the time, really enjoyable style
