I believe the answer was strongly suggested in the video. His cousins are slumming it up in the slums of africa while seeing their cousin Themba get a big ass house gifted to him in the US, and seeing their cousin fight on live TV in the biggest MMA promotion in the world. Themba suggests that they asked him for help, but Themba insists that he isn't rich, strongly suggesting that he didn't help his cousins. Now, who knows, maybe his cousins are toxic blood sucking people. Or Maybe his cousins helped support themba and had his back for years and feel betrayed. Or Maybe themba just really can't help them.
