Crime 1200 hands off protest against Trump and Leon yesterday in the US.

I saw all the charted buses, the "protestors" leave when their shift was up, and the plane filled with a bunch of blue haired weirdos traveling to the event. The question isn't if it was staged, but who paid for it to be staged? We should all be made aware of who is funding this idiocy.

I'm just glad they weren't violent this time.

None of this shit was real... lol. For whatever reason, it was almost all boomers. lol...

I don't really get what "Hands Off" as a slogan has to do with Trump and Elon.

Good on these people showing their 1st amendment rights without descending into looting and rioting.
That's a fair point. I think it was paid and dumb, but whatever doesn't end in riot is fair game.

Yep. There was virtually no young people and the Boomers that went were nutters.

Lol what?

Tell me big boy what is my age?

I will wait for you

Scared bitch talk but don't show up when confronted. Standard
Calm down, brother. Shit. I was doing stuff. But let me break down what I'm seeing.

When responding to a post talking about how people's 401ks may be suffering right now you said "We need to sacrifice for the future. I'm not cashing out for another 25 years. Life happens.".

I then reply pointing out how that mindset is the problem and you're attitude suggests that you're only focused on you and yours and not thinking about people who will be retiring right at the worst of the downturn. Everyone else are the cracked eggs in your omelet. Your next post goes "Why would I be pulling money out now?" implying that you are not close enough to retirement age for this to be a negative in your life.

What's clear you don't see and exactly the point I'm making is that throughout your posts you're only focused on how it's affecting YOU and YOUR retirement. You're trying to challenge me to tell you how old you are and by going down that road you are precisely embodying the attitude which I was pointing out. The unfortunate part is that you don't even realize it.

Here's another nuance to this scenario that needs to be addressed: it's not sacrifice in the sense of a noble act by those negatively impacted by this economic downturn. As if they're on board. They are BEING sacrificed. I'm guessing you're young enough to endure the dip from your previous insinuation. We have the time to absorb this blow. The people retiring in the next few years should things get really bad are not CHOOSING to be a sacrifice for OUR future. To call it a sacrifice and telling the 65 year olds "life happens" is the exact egotistical and selfish mindset that people are pushing back against Trump for. The 65 year old sacrifices 50% of their retirement and then dies before it goes back up leaving them with less to live on than they were anticipating. We younger people sacrifice 50% of our retirement but it recovers and then some before we hit retirement age. So, who's doing the real "sacrificing"?
