Social The Way Conservatives Used to Talk About Immigration

I agree the right-wing has extremists that they need to condemn (which Trump has done on multiple occasions).

My post was more that the left absolutely hated George W. Bush, 2% approval rating amongst liberal democrats. The only person I could think of a lower approval rating would probably be Hitler. So would they trot out Hitler the same way they trot out another person they absolutely despised with a 2% approval rating, as long as he opposed Trump?
Man, I loathed Bush as a president, personally.

I cant speak for others, but when we look back, as bad as he was, he was great compared to trump.

Simple things like upholding American values, basic civility, the constitution and decency are lost with trump

I would imagine (and I cant speak for others) when people present Bush, Pence, Rumsfeild etc. theyre not saying, "Look how good they were."

They are saying, "Look how terrible republican leadership has become."

There is another thread about the free press, Bush sounds like a total scholar and the anti-thesis of where we are now. He's not talking about trump, he's talking simply about free press which to some will be antogonistic to trump-

I liked bush as a person. He is a bit aloof but it is his interactions with Michelle Obama that tells me he is a decent dude deep down. He put aside the politics and is a person under all that wealth.
I always experienced a weird dichotomy towards him

He seemed like a decent guy, but the wars troubled me, perhaps it was par for the course for US presidents.

He was not ideal for leadership in my opinion though

Yeah, 9/11 helped his career a whole lot and everyone was scared and out total trust into the potus/government. Well, except the “it was an inside job” idgits I agree with what you said. They knew they all came from Saudi and they went into Iraq m. Overall the fraudulent war got rid of sodamn insane and then led to the cluster fuck in afghan that Biden just dropped everything and pulled out-which surprisingly, hasn’t led to anything bad hankering outside that litter box.

But the left absolutely hated him with a passion-not like trump, mind you, but it is rose colored glssses that he wasn’t that bad of a potus. I would say he was average or slightly below but he seems like a decent guy, which is refreshing

conservatives want more legal immigrants.

The far left want more illegal immigrants to disrupt and destroy America.

Its always fun to watch liberals lament the loss of values and decency. The irony is staggering. The hypocrisy of literally everything you just said is tough to describe. Leadership? Are you joking?

Yes deep down its like you can see he regreted the Iraq war.

Remember his gaffe when making a speach about Russias invasion of Ukraine were said "Invasion of Iraq" instead?

You don't feel any loss of decency with Trump? Nothing at all?

Do you think taking joy in cutting USAID and causing the death of all those people is a decent thing to do?

Umm.
What are you trying to communicate?

<WhatIsThis>
That you're the most morally corrupt, indecent people calling the kettle black.

It wasn't really a riddle, did you need to ask?

No idea what on Earth you are incoherently rambling about, nor how it corresponds with anything at all.
"huh, wha.... I don't get it, whats going on here!??!?!?"
So clever.

Bush was great compared to Trump? lol.. You fucktards have short memories.

Iraq - The War of Lies
The Patriot Act - The single worst act of legislation to strip US civilian rights
The CIA Torture Report - Whistleblower was sent to prison by Obama for outing torture done by the CIA under Bush and Obama
NSA Spying on US Citizens

Iraq alone puts Bush under Trump. Even if Bush was pushed into that war by Cheney and his DOD.
And we'll never get rights back that were stripped by the The Patriot Act. Everyone in DC is gutless and too scared of the CIA/FBI to go against them.

As Schumer said back in Trump part 1

Trump is the only anti-establishment President this country has had since JFK. All of them... All... Do the bidding of the Military Industrial Complex and The Blob.

JFK had the audacity to go against the DOD

Democrat or Republican... they all toe the line...

Trump is literally sicking the military on American citizens. Is this the kind of anti establishment you favor? Just cutting off USAID will kill more people than Bush did.

I didn't hate him, but I couldn't stand him, lol. I have softened a lot and see that he's a decent guy. After 9/11 the neo-cons took over. Bush was along for the ride at that point. I yearn for the days of a recognizable Republican party. I would welcome a person like Bush with a fucking parade.

These neo-maga morons forgot how gung ho they were for killing those Arabs

This sudden revisionism is insane

Further, to your point, Bush never attacked Americans and American institutions. trump threatens and speaks of Americans as the "enemy"

Demonstrates what type of "leadership" some cultist gravitate to.

I remember it well. It was obvious they were cooking up bullshit so they would have an excuse to invade Iraq. I was met with "you're either for us or against us!".

"Hitler wasn't really that bad...."

Jesus Christ.
He wasn't. He outlawed usury and outlawed central banks printing his country's currency at debt, which most people have no idea how that absolute scam works which seems to be a staple of democracy. But pointing that out gets posts deleted because he laid the blueprint on how to take your country back from foreign parasites and their ass kissers hell bent on ruling over an entire slave class controlled via hyper inflated costs with deflated currency. He described how the bought and paid for political class operates as 2 parties with different ideals, yet with the same goals that just play a nonstop seesaw act that never sees progress. 1 step forward for the party in power, 2 steps back for all of us regardless if you're an elephant or a jackass. His actual translated speeches and NSDAP articles spell it out clearly how a nation obsessed with its currency and debt over the value of its people is doomed for failure. He gets rid of all the debt scams and takes back control of the treasury, then all of a sudden, Germany becomes one of the strongest economies in a short amount of time where unemployment goes from 30%+ down to low single digits and people don't have to eat their pets anymore or starve since a loaf of bread doesn't cost in the thousands of dollars, and women no longer have to prostitute themselves just to try to survive. But most people are so fucking stupid, they literally think this guy ran on a platform of let's mass murder jews and all the "evil" Germans applauded it. It's such a farce.

Other leaders learned from him and tried it in their country, but just like WWII were met with heavy resistance from the bankers and their pet nations when the threat of not being able to run their debt scam looms. Kahdafi in Libya took bullets and a bayonet up his ass for trying it. Saddam walked a tight rope trying to dance with the devil that ultimately failed. And more recently Assad in Syria just got ousted (CIA op? Mossad Op? Maybe one in the same currently)

Hitler didn't need a bullet proof car to travel around in like our current day political class. But Hollywood has done its job with the mind controlled propaganda and most have no clue when it comes to actual history versus bullshit movies. Were national socialists perfect? Of course not, but the way the propaganda works is that if you even entertain the thought of maybe this guy had some good ideas, this and this alone somehow makes you an evil person.
