Oh man
One of the GOAT shows and characters imo

"How do you know these things?"
"You mean i'm right?"

"The question isn't why do I have a styptic pencil behind my ear. The question is, why don't you have a styptic pencil behind your ear?"

I'm gonna have to go binge some Taxi yet again
Ya'll got me hankering
Christ that was a good show

"Mental illness or narcotic addiction?"
"Now that's a tough choice."

Audioslave was one of the more interesting concerts I've seen. Like seeing four bands at once, plus a short acoustic Chris Cornell performance. Good times.

These OT threads have quite the grab bag discussions. From behind the scenes MMA stuff to Andre farting. Always a good read. Lol
Don't forget tons and tons of salt. So much salt.

I chose the rationale with the fewest assumptions, all of which were accurate. @Jack V Savage is choosing a vague and convoluted narrative with multiple hidden assumptions.

Such as?

It's like real life. If a man talks shit about another man behind his back, the first guy needs to called out as a bitch. That's an important social function.

Yes @Fawlty, I am referring to you. The other boys on your team aren't so catty. Man up.

This isn't pwend's group. All these posts are publicly available.

I'm OK with being tagged if it's an interesting discussion about me or something, but if it's just dumb insults (like yours directed toward Fawlty), I'll find it myself or not.

If you can explain how Hillary had the power to influence that decision then please do...

It's obvious in retrospect (was obvious to some of us at the time) that the attempts to portray Clinton as some kind of criminal were 100% about stealing an election (trying to arrest the frontrunner on bullshit charges). It's chilling that so many people were willing to go along with that, as it indicates that it could work next time (especially if the GOP continues to purge law enforcement of all but party loyalists). I don't think people realize still how close we were to losing our democracy.

You're asserting that the Russian government offered Trump something in exchange for hacking the DNC e-mail system and releasing the e-mails through a 3rd party. If you take a moment to think about it, there's a lot of complicated steps involved there. Nevertheless, you have not spelled out how those steps were carried out, probably because you don't have a good explanation and yet your subconscious accepts the "Russia collusion" narrative uncritically.

The subconscious is more powerful than most realize. @senri

Asked for something, you mean. And it's just an observation. We've all seen the email correspondence.

What would the "loss of our democracy" look like, specifically?

In this case, we would have had a president take office as a result of the leading candidate being arrested on bullshit charges right before the election, in what would essentially be a coup. The new president would have illegitimately filled a seat in the SCOTUS. America would no longer be a country in which power transfers on the basis of democracy. And a disturbing number of Americans were OK with that, as long as their party would benefit. Even after law enforcement put rule of law about partisan advantage, you still had some Republicans saying that they should have ignored the law and the findings and arrested Clinton anyway.

You observed e-mail correspondence showing that Trump gave Putin something in exchange for the hack and e-mail release?

You edit your posts way too much.

Anyway, it's fertile ground for a bet.
