Gardaí took possession of some of the woman’s bloodstained clothing and made the decision to call an ambulance which took her to a sexual assault treatment unit at the Rotunda Hospital for an immediate assessment.

Gardaí travelled with her to the hospital for this process, which is protocol. The young woman was later released from hospital. Since then, gardaí have remained in contact with the woman.

It is understood investigating detectives were in contact with the woman a number of times following the attack, ‘encouraging’ her to make a full statement ‘but only when she feels able to do so’.


When gardaí arrived, the woman, who is in her 20s, was visibly battered and distraught.

She gave an account to gardaí of being raped and beaten by the sportsman in a penthouse suite.

Punching an elderly man who is minding his own business is the sign of someone who just doesn't give a fuck about anyone - even if they say no.

Punching an old man is about as evil as it gets - only a low life piece who is used to doing what he wants would do that.

Everything I said was factual and simply acknowledging that we should be just as cautious about instantly assuming guilt as we should with believing innocence. It's playing devils advocate. Nothing more.

Conor could very well be 100% guilty, he's definitely shown that he's capable of some crazy shit in the heat of the moment. That doesn't necessarily mean that guilt should be automatically assumed in an industry rife with setups for payoffs.

Which says to me that he's getting most of the blame over circumstances that were completely up to chance

If she wasn't pregnant, literally nobody would have cared anywhere near the degree they did. By the way people talk you'd think he sought her out and crashed into her on purpose

You realize the important distinction though right? Conor hasn't been convicted of this crime, Jones was. Jones was more concerned for his coke than the person he hit, guy's a scumbag regardless of how you feel about McGregor. Surely given the relatively recent news around Jones and an altercation with a stripper you'd concur that it's important to consider anyone innocent until proven guilty.

You keep saying this in this thread, is their information that I missed that Conor killed someone, or are you referencing War Machine? The way you're typing it out has me assuming that Conor did the killing.

I've been away from the forum for awhile and first saw & went to the notifications(kept this thread on watch) so I'm seriously asking if Conor ended up killing someone?


Edit: doesn't change my outlook on him but War Machine was charged with attempt of murder, so he's not a full on murderer.

P.S. I also agree with you, hit & run is far more forgivable comparative to rape and/or murder.

What does any of that bullshit have to do with his mixed martial arts career? Is this a Boy Scouts club or something? Mike Tyson is one of most beloved heavyweight champions of all time. He was convicted of rape. He also serve time in prison for assault. As a teen he beat the shit out of old ladies and mugged them. I can’t stand how people don’t even want to talk about fighting. I just wanna talk about somebody’s personality, or they got in trouble with the law. Jones is a free man. Nobody has locked him up. So get over it.
