I have no problems with Van Sant. I wish she'd made the eefort to improve as a fighter, but we all make choices. Still, from the Namajunes fight, it's been the glow outshines the technique with Van Sant.

And this? This is the UFC using Van Sant's star power to help Ribas got over.

Ribas is the worst possible opponent. Just shy of one punch knockout power. Meaning Van Sant will eat FIFTY head strikes before the ref stop it, not just one. I'll watch it, cause Ribas is a show, but this is where you feel for fighters who's only asset is their toughness. Ribas is gonna beat Van Sant into next week, and we're all gonna get on the judges for not stopping it sooner.

One thing the commentators said that I didn't know :
Amanda Ribas is not only a black-belt in BJJ but also a black-belt in Judo.
So ....she should know how to get opponents on the ground and how to sub them.

The woman is just impressive every which way you look at it.

Lol, I don't particularly care about her one way or another but to say "she's not a fighter" is a joke dude.

The chick fought with a broken arm, hung in fights were she was a bloody mess with almost 0 chance of turning it around and never once quit.

You may not like her because she gets attention more for her looks then her skills which is perfectly fine by me, and Yeah, she'll never be a Champion but if that chick isn't a "fighter" I honestly don't know who is.

Is she a great fighter.... Absolutely not but is she is most certainly a fighter, though I agree this fight is unlikely to end well for her.

She is not going to Bellator. She has over 2M social media followers. That is worth something for the UFC. The UFC is a star driven promotion (like every combat promotion), and PVZ is one of the top stars of the UFC, in terms of brand recognition.
