Haha, I don't actually hope it does, I just think that's what will happen.

Ribas is really good and has been active. PVZ hasn't. Bellator can use her and build around her, make her a priority, give her squash matches, plus she can be with her husband.

The UFC can't do much with her unless she starts winning fights, which is harder in the UFC. The real Kraken we need to be released here are her full length videos, um, sparring with her husband.

Van Zant essentially quit fighting years ago (Injuries, stoopid Instagram naked pics more worthy of her time).

Amanda Ribas is a terrific fighter, skilled, athletic, trains hard, fun as hell, great personality. She's just an entertaining exuberant fighter

I'd honestly say of the "new-ish" female fighters, the 4 that get my attention as far as excellent prospects and all-round fun-factor are (in no particular order):
Amanda Ribas (115lbs) (already beat Randa Markos and MacKenzie Dern)
Mariya Agapova (125lbs) (very impressive performance on her debut -- definitely a future star IMHO)
Julia Avila (135lbs) (should be ranked now, she's exciting & powerful - goes for finishes, & 135lb division NEEDS new blood)
Yan Xiaonan (115lbs) (5 UFC fights, won them all)

Lol, I don't particularly care about her one way or another but to say "she's not a fighter" is a joke dude.

The chick fought with a broken arm, hung in fights were she was a bloody mess with almost 0 chance of turning it around and never once quit.

You may not like her because she gets attention more for her looks then her skills which is perfectly fine by me, and Yeah, she'll never be a Champion but if that chick isn't a "fighter" I honestly don't know who is.

Is she a great fighter.... Absolutely not but is she is most certainly a fighter, though I agree this fight is unlikely to end well for her.

Respect for PVZ as she's a very tough fighter, but I think she's on the downside of her career and everyone is calling out her to make a name out of her popularity, it happened even with Barber but PVZ didn't want the fight.
Amanda Ribas on the other hand is a rising star, very skilled allround fighter and is taking the fight @ 125 despite she's a SW.
Thanks a lot to PVZ to gift us some nice highlight like the Bec Hyatt KO, but this is a fight that will put Amanda Ribas under the spotlights and then Amanda should definitely fight a ranked opponent @ 115 or another rising star like Brianna Van Buren (if she beats Tecia).

As if going to Bellator in WMMA would be much worse. WMMA is WMMA.

Paige has more determination and grit than some male fighters. She has every bit the necessary mentality, just not the skillset which is more of the norm in WMMA.

I dislike her whole media persona. Her husband is even worse. Two attention whores, but we should always respect her as a fighter because that she truly is.
