The UFC has unleashed the Kraken, Page Van Sant is back!!!

Paige is one one my favorite women fighters heart, toughness she has had 8 fights in the UFC and only went the decision twice so pretty much kill or be killed. Plus she wont go to Bellator my girls been on dancing with the stars been on chopped she goes where theirs eyes watching and nobody is watching Bellator.

I really enjoy her fights.

She's a gamer who goes in and puts it on the line, she's fun.

Amanda Ribas will win this, and it won't be particularly close.

Van Zant essentially quit fighting years ago (Injuries, stoopid Instagram naked pics more worthy of her time).

Amanda Ribas is a terrific fighter, skilled, athletic, trains hard, fun as hell, great personality. She's just an entertaining exuberant fighter

I'd honestly say of the "new-ish" female fighters, the 4 that get my attention as far as excellent prospects and all-round fun-factor are (in no particular order):
Amanda Ribas (115lbs) (already beat Randa Markos and MacKenzie Dern)
Mariya Agapova (125lbs) (very impressive performance on her debut -- definitely a future star IMHO)
Julia Avila (135lbs) (should be ranked now, she's exciting & powerful - goes for finishes, & 135lb division NEEDS new blood)
Yan Xiaonan (115lbs) (5 UFC fights, won them all)
pullin the trigger quick on agapava eh? have u seen her other fights prior to the ufc?? dont get me wrong she looked amazing in her debut, but her opponent. was.. well, hannah cifers.

man, if only she shaved her head. sherdog would be in love with her...

man, who am i kidding, then we'd have a rose situation. sherdog cant have nice things.

The monster will be let lose on July 12

July 11th?

No, July 12th.

Maybe he lives overseas?

Likely. From Allentown, PA, where you from Britain? Germany?

Nah, the fight is being advertised as both. I'm pretty sure it's because locally (Yas Island) the timezone will be the 12th, but broadcast on the 11th for American audiences.

I truly thought PVZ was going to be a future contender after the Felice Herrig fight, but she just hasn't developed at all since then.

Actually....Yes I have.

BEFORE her fight with Cifers I watched the entirety of both her dominating victories against :
Marilia Santos
Alexa Conners
in this thread :
https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/...n-to-face-mariya-agapova-on-saturday.4113464/

and in that thread on Jun 8th I said (quote) :
Just watched that.

Cifers has no chance.

That chick Agapova has great kickboxing, repeated hard leg kicks to the body, accurate boxing and a killer instinct.

She should do really well.
So I saw all her Invicta fights and it was obvious to me that she was gonna smash Cifers. Great kick-boxing, excellent distance-control, she sees kicks and punches coming, she's got great head and body movement, hard left-kick to the body, and she's aggressive and goes in for the kill. She's EXACTLY what UFC looks for and in a division that is, frankly, thin as hell, I predict she will be promoted rapidly and given as many fights as she can handle. As usual with pushed fighters they should be careful not to push her upwards TOO fast but everything I see from her shows major star in the making. And, this was before Cifers fight.
Bit like Joanna Jed but with power and aggression and also great chokes.

Came here for boob pics, so disappointed.

One more thing on Amanda Ribas vs Paige van Zant :

I think UFC already know that Paige van Zant is leaving the UFC (this is her last UFC fight on her contract) and likely (so I heard) gonna sign with Bellator so what the UFC does in that situation is give the exiting fighter the toughest fight they can and USE the exiting fighter to springboard one of the their own rising stars (Amanda Ribas) and this is exactly how I read this matchup :

Van Zant is leaving, UFC know it, Ribas is dynamic and exciting and a hot prospect and UFC hope that Ribas dominates this fight and I think that they're right and Ribas gets a convincing & exciting victory.

Rooting for Ribas and not a fan of Paige, but yeah, the chick's tough and kinda does not get enough credit as a fighter. She's obviously thot-ing in instagram, but in all her fights she does give it her all. Ribas should win, but I wouldn't count Paige out.

The hate she gets on her haha instagram model or not she has proved in the cage before that she is extremely tough girl and can take a beating and fight through it and im sure she could beat up alot of sherdoggers talking shit on here.
