The Truth about Mr. Jones

Weird how JJ fans keep defending his PED busts by saying everyone else was on them too, but miraculously, Jones was the only high profile fighter who popped 3 times. You would think given his resources, he should have access to the better stuff or be able to hide it better than everyone else. Poor Jon, he never had a level playing field with access to the best PEDs &/or masking agents. I also think JJ has the best resume of anyone in MMA history, but it's a bit weird how badly people need to deflect his PED busts by claiming everyone else was on it
 
The answer is simple:

1) Aspinall calls Jon a Coward and a bitch and shouts it from the rooftops or whatever the 2024 equivalent to rooftops is. Probably Rogan podcast.

2) Aspinal defends against the actual real #1 contender. The more eyes the better. UFC 300 needs a headliner and HW strap is always good for a nice ppv boost. Then uses post fight sound byte to repeat step one.

I followed that logically for years. But I guess I saw the Icarus documentary and it opened my eyes to how easy it is. Like to me maybe someone like Barnett was really sloppy doing PEDs and not as advanced as someone else with a team behind them.

Barnett is an example of someone I think was grassed on. I mean, you don't get busted 3 times for fucking up. I doubt he was short of money - or access to better facilities... Ironic that the fail that ended his career was overturned and found to be faulty

He's right on most points. Can't really say Jon is up for it or above it or whatever.

I don't like the bloke much, but it's only because I've heard so many Middlesborough fans coat off Newcastle in the same way.

His breakdown of Jon's record was way off (IMO). Record wise. There is no comparison if we're playing that game. He was right on point about Stipe tho. Jones can throw shade at Tom all he wants. The guy IS the next contender. If Jones doesn't fight him, he's ducking the real competition, and is ABSOLUTELY a paper champ. His past achievements don't change that.

If all he is worried about is his legacy. If he's looking to actually ramp it up.

Give the belt up and fight Stipe in a "Friendly". Leave the UFC and hunt down Frankie. That's the only way his legacy is "improved" at HW.

It makes me wonder the differences though. Since USADA, Americans haven't been performing as well. Maybe its the jurisdiction? I also hear Thailand is a refuge. I know some of the countries are so remote they don't have the same ease of logistics there.
