Honestly, I was a kid when the Next Generation started, and at some point I thought back, and wondered, "Was Deanna Troy hot?" Looked at an episode and results were inconclusive. Definitely not ugly though.

That makes sense. She was almost neutral back in the day. Nothing really stood out. Seeing her in that clip makes me think she probably aged well and it may have added something to her look.

Yeah, it was another betrayal of the character to portray him as an overzealous, incapable actor. I'm sure it was fun, and designed for comedic effect, but there were zero laughs, and it retcons his history as a man with the capacity for the nuance of deceit.

The show is so fucking bad. The Orville remains Star Trek and Roddenberry's true heir.

Yeah, it was another betrayal of the character to portray him as an overzealous, incapable actor. I'm sure it was fun, and designed for comedic effect, but there were zero laughs, and it retcons his history as a man with the capacity for the nuance of deceit.

People just wanted Picard flying around on the Enterprise being Picard.

This show was designed as a slam dunk

it required little to no effort to pull off and yet they still can't get it right

It's mindboggling to say the least

Its like a mental ill person was put in charge of the show

I know its bad because you could take out Picard and insert any character and it would still be the same show

Picard is literally only there for fucking cheap ratings and if you watch this show you should be ashamed of yourself

Thats all I gotta say, don't ever ask me about Picard woooooo

It's great, I'm hooked. Star Trek has always been about the problems of our time through the lense of sci-fi, feels this one is on point that way.

Picard returning to the Borg cube was fun. Nice seeing the Borg returnees in a different light.

New science officer is a shoe in for Tilly but that's fine by me. I've liked the exploration of Picard's fame too, also of him being a bit of a cunt sometimes ignoring the little people.
