It's done. This is the message-heavy political, violent ST.Ep 1 - 5/10
Ep 2 - 5.5/10
Ep 3 - 3/10
Ep 4 - 5/10
Ep 5 - 4/10
Huge TNG fan. What a letdown so far.
This all started with Star Trek: First Contact. Not enough anger, violence and shooting.
I say it goes back to Best of Both Worlds, and DS9 ran with that ball. After BOBW, people wanted more epic, lengthy explosion filled scenes. This all started with Star Trek: First Contact.
I watched the first 3 episodes how long til I'm supposed to like itI don't know. Maybe we will find out soon. Gotta give a show a chance

wtf am I looking at
Is that a shoop
The Romulan empire being destroyed by a single star that isn't native enough to explode is fucking science- retarded.
That entire idea should've been jettisoned. Romulans were the most interesting antagonists.
And making the entire Federation a bunch of hate filled, murderous assholes is way, way past the line marked "acceptable changes".
They had to go into Mos Eisley in disguise so the pilot guy went as a 20th century Harlem pimp apparently while Picard went as a French smuggler

Star Trek has completely done away with any science at this point.
Last week the scientist chick said there were only 3 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy, which is about 1% of the actual number, and a SEPTILLION planets which is about 15 ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE too many.
Remember when this show used to put in work and research and make sure things were as scientifically accurate as possible?
Remember when they used to try?
My post should've read *massive but got autocorrected to native.Star Trek has completely done away with any science at this point.
