Yeah they met at a Star Trek con, while he was promoting his Spock film. Been married a few years now.How come I didn't know that Terry Farrell is married to Adam Nimoy?

Most unlikely happy together pic ever
Why exactly? Under his leadership, season 2 of Discovery was vastly better than season one and listened to fan, to try and fix the mistakes they have made. He is bringing us Picard, which is just crazy to me, and I can't wait. He is also trying to expand Treks reach, by making multiple series for a variety of age group and demographics. We will soon have Discovery, Picard, Section 31, lower decks, nick kids trek show, and very likely a Pike Series, 6 TV new trek series. He also has made some great hires, to help oversee comics, books, merchandise, ect. We have all sorts of cool new stuff coming down the pipe.Kurtzman's position in Trek needs to be terminated with extreme prejudice if any improvement is to be made IMHO.
I could see them doing a Klingon show. I would love to see Worf leading a Klingon crew in joint operations with the Federations, or trying to integrate the crew to work with the federation.

Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Michael Dorn is still hoping to see his idea for a Worf spinoff series become reality. Dorn attended Keystone Comic Con in Philadelphia this weekend and during a panel, he says he’s still trying to see his pilot made and that he believes it would be a perfect fit for the new generation of Star Trek television.
“I am trying to get them to do my Worf pilot," Dorn said (via Syfy Wire). "I wrote it in 2012-13, and it’s been going like this: a lot of interest, no interest, a lot of interest, no interest ... A guy who was a producer at this one place that I was pitching it came up to me before the meeting and [said], ‘I gotta tell you, your character meant so much to me' ... It fits so well into this new Star Trek universe. It just fits right in there. We’ll see."
His Next Generation co-star Marina Sirtis was also on the panel. She added, “I read [his pilot script] and I called him up and said, ‘How did you do that?. He had all the action stuff minutely detailed… I was very impressed with my best friend."
Dorn has spoken previously about how his Worf show would be a good fit for the Star Trek: Discovery era of Star Trek television. “This is, I think, perfectly timed and placed,” Dorn said in an interview. “You’re not stepping on anybody’s toes, and I always thought the Klingon Empire was a great empire to write about because it’s Shakespearean. The Klingon Empire has had to evolve and change and they don’t like that and they’re fighting it every step of the way. They’ve had to introduce aliens into their society. Just like our world now is becoming a global world where it’s not just like, ‘Oh we’re Californians and that’s all that really matters.’ We’re talking about something here and it affects China.
“Worf is on a ship and he’s going out and all the adventures are happening with him,” Dorn says. “Every episode is like the original or Next Generation. It’s a self-contained episode that has a beginning, a middle, and an end. And it says something.”
I think if we see Klingons on in Discovery they will continue to look more and more TNG like, as they started to in season 2..Kurtzman listens to the fans, and that has been one of the biggest complaints. Remember the new look of the Klingons was a directive from Bryan Fuller, not Kurtzman or anyone else involved.I personally have doubts that we will even see TNG era Klingons in Picard. And a Worf series would create a real headache: update Worf to the 'new' style? Change the Klingon style again? Or make Worf something in-between?
I think fans would only accept TNG era looks.

I think other than the likely pike series, any new series will be in the Picard era. I think they realized the headache the caused themselves by inserting DSC into a known timeline and canon. Remember it was Bryan Fuller who placed the show when he did. It wouldn't surprise me if section 31 took place in the future since Georgiou is on Discovery in the future. She find some way to end up in the late 24th century.True, but the next iteration of Star Trek will be Picard afaik (not Short Treks, right?).
I.e. likely no Klingons in Picard Season 1.
Picard offically wraps on Friday. Sources saying that it will likely air first week in February.
Yep. I hope they don't screw up the Picard show, but I know they probably will.So I finished season 2 of Discovery last night. I binged streamed both seasons over the course of the last two months or so. If I’m being honest with myself I really don’t like this show at all. It looks good, but that’s about it. It simultaneously tries to appeal to nostalgia while shitting all over the preexisting canon or lore. A lot of the characters are totally insufferable. The story barely makes any sense and often doesn’t seem to follow its own rules.
