What most breweries call a "sour" these days is bogus, they're just a Berliner Weisse with fruit additions (pre acidify with lacto, kill the bacteria, then fruit) while a legit sour beer is a slow complex long fermentation with Lactobacillus, Brettanomyces, and Pediococcus. They can last a long time too, I'm still popping bottles that are 10+ years old that are drinking amazing.

Hazys are generally all super hoppy, it's just you are probably associating hoppyness with bitterness. All of the terpenes from the hops are what's giving those hazy beers big flavor. Personally, I've kind of burnt myself out on them as I got an early start with Tree House and Trilium stuff before it became trendy, so I'm usually chasing West Coast style. Fortunately Ghost Town in Oakland is churning out fire West Coast IPA's regularly.

A lot of times I'm just drinking crisp as fuck Rainiers, though.

Yea, the milk stouts to me are almost like having a cup of coffee. I like them on cold days. You're probably right about the IPAs. I was associating bitterness with hoppiness. I don't care for the super bitter ones, it reminds me of grapefruit juice. I think Rapturous is the brand that puts out most of the sours I've tried. I'm not sure what their process looks like or if they would be considered true sours. It's somewhat slim pickings down here in GA because all these fools want are the mass produced light beers like bud, Miller, Coors, etc. Whenever I travel out of state, I always try to visit local breweries and pick up some to bring back.

Ignorance? Everyone I know can name Metallica -- so far, between my nephews, friends daughters, aunts, uncles, grandparents -- fuckin all relatives or people I've asked -- ALSO the ones who watch the games at the family get together -- have no fuckin idea who or why this Bunny dude is or cares. Think I'd take a band that's sold more tickets than t-swift and the rolling stones to play something like this before some PR dude singing a diff language.... but hey, wtf I know?

They consistently sell out arena shows. In fact, just recently they filled up the stadium where the Super Bowl is set to take place...

And if I was going to teleport for Metallica I'd go to the mid 80's, not 90's...
