First Trailer for The Shining Sequel DOCTOR SLEEP Starring Ewan McGregor

“Doctor Sleep” continues the story of Danny Torrance, 40 years after his terrifying stay at the Overlook Hotel in The Shining. Ewan McGregor, Rebecca Ferguson and newcomer Kyliegh Curran star in the supernatural thriller, directed by Mike Flanagan, from his own screenplay based upon the novel by Stephen King. To be fair it’a sequel to Stephen Kings novel shining as opposed to Kubricks version Although I doubt the distinction will be apparent while watching the movie.

I know I read the book. Kubrick actually ignored King's screenplay and wrote his own and King hated the Kubrick version. So yeah to now make a movie about King's sequel and then reference the Kubrick movie is a little weird.
