Even an average banh mi draws a smile on my face!
At least we’re one of the happiest countries on Earth!
I think that’s bullshit, too. People are depressed as hell and we have no sun for most of the year. We have no fried chicken here, no great sandwiches.
I could murder that sandwich right now. And the pickle of course!Giant Reuben (corn beef or Pastrami).
No fried chicken??? If you want to move to Canada I’ll put in a good word for you.Even an average banh mi draws a smile on my face!
I think my favorite one is a pastrami sandwich. Sadly we don’t have that stuff here in Finland, because.. I don’t know, people don’t care for some great foods? Or we don’t really have much people here. Mostly just trees and snow, except when it’s summer. Then we have just a little bit of snow. Yes, the trees will still be there.
I went to the NYC once. They know their way around a pastrami sandwich, I’ll tell you that much. Something like this:
I wish we had some kind of a real sandwich culture here.. No one is stuffing deli meats inside a freshly baked bread with all kinds of fancy cheeses and stuff. No, no. Also the beer is expensive as shit here, so there are better travel choices to choose than Finland.

Congratulations for posting this before @Red Beard @Frank McEdgar and @Spath. Way to represent FCF Club!
Is that the country where @Clippy resides in? I think I’d fit in quite well. I can’t speak french, though. I can smile and nod, is that enough? No fried chicken??? If you want to move to Canada I’ll put in a good word for you.
That’s perfect. We’ll introduce you to Dixie Lee fried chicken. Is that the country where @Clippy resides in? I think I’d fit in quite well. I can’t speak french, though. I can smile and nod, is that enough?
You guys are all fancy with your “fresh” bread. Leave it out for a few days for extra flavouring
Aaaaand now I’m hungry. Lol.
Wood! sans the cheap looking mustard.Greetings sherbros and shersis,
This thread is for all who appreciate a good sandwich. This is not a debate about which sandwich is the best, but rather a place to showcase what you think is a great sandwich.
I have so many favourites, but a Montreal Smoked meat on rye with mustard is a favourite of mine.
