The Pub - Belph's Battle with Anorexia

It's at a crossfit box here in Winnipeg. Winnipeg doesn't hold too many meets throughout the year through the CPU and I'm not joining a box.

Thanks, tosa. Powell's gym is Annette Powel's house. McDole's looks like a good place to train, Pam Bosco trains there, as well as Joe Doerksen from time to time. Is there some procedure I'm supposed to go through to contact these places? I am not affiliated with them, that seems like a douche move to call and ask for help.

It's time like these I wish I had friends who did more than just golf.

Well, looking at their website, they are a business, and they do advertise that they have a couple powerlifting groups. So they should be happy to help, although it'll probably cost a little money, like gym dues at least.

The website also says they're "Big advocates of the conjugate system". So there might be pressure to train differently, though.

If you start training at a powerlifting gym, and/or do powerlifting meets, you should make friends that do more than just golf.

McDole has some inconvenient hours and is very pricey. Not that you know driving in Winnipeg; it is literally in the worst area for a ridiculous amount of traffic. I could deal with the traffic if it didn't cost as much as a box membership.

Haha. Don't tempt me. My company already told me I would have my own store by now if I went there.

5am, time for canned chicken and some microwave rice. Gourmet as fuck.

Scrambled eggs, kippers, salad, almonds, milk.

Now that were on the subject! What would be some cool/good ideas for lunch that would have to be eaten cold or un-heated? We have a microwave at work but it's really old and doesn't work that well. Cold chicken & rice isn't as good as I remembered.

Tuna salad seems like a popular choice for a cold lunch. I can't stand the stuff, personally. But that's me.

Algeria are giving Germany all kinds of problems at the moment.

My favorite on the go is albacore tuna, avacado, shredded baby boy choy, salt and pepper, all mashed up.

Feels like I'm watching through a cosmic rift. Spain, Portugal and Italy knocked out in the first round, the latter by the bottom-seeded team in the entire tournament.

Must mean that US will win it all.

We did it, guys, we brought freedom to soccer.

I remember when freedom actually meant something. Like freedom cabbage - now there's a foodstuff worthy of the word.

Funny how German Shepherds ended up being called Alsatians, rather than Freedom Shepherds, though.
