The price of being a clean fighter: Velasquez and Cruz

im over 30 and in the best shape of my life... At 25 i hadnt even kissed a girl yet but this year I have already kissed one and even held her hand for over a minute.
All that means is you weren't at peak possible condition at 25, if you were living the correct lifestyle back then you would be superior to your current self or you might have discovered TRT.

Right but resting instead of continuing to train would probably help your ligaments more than just training through injuries.
True. But that has nothing to do with steroids. In fact, resting while taking steroids is great

you really are a whole new level of stupid.

last time i say it.. that chart is fake, the data is fake, its a meme
Dang, what gave it away? The picture of Dana White I MS Paint on to it?

Would love to see some softbodied men gasping for air.

Breaking news: they’re all on juice op

Lmfao this is OP's attempt to justify his fraud hero's imminent and due demise. Cheaters never prosper. Jon Jones is Done and was NEVER a true winner. It's in the history books!!!!

A lot of fans complain about how often Cain and Dominick are injured but you have to understand, that's the price of trying to train as much as they train while on the physical decline. The majority of adult males who are past age 25 rather or not you want to believe it, or rather or not it makes you feel insecure about yourself, are most likely on the physical decline.

Staying in shape; despite having health benefits, will not help a fighter recover from the injuries bruisings and compounding skeletal microfractures, that build up over an intense long fight camp.

In reality, if the majority of fighters trained clean or never cycled, in the typical MMA fight you'd see soft bodied men gasping for air in the later rounds, and pull outs and carreer ending debilitating injuries would be FAR more common in the sport. Even fighters, who pop and come back and fight with a drastically different physicque are managing to cycle some form of testosterone or AAS, or Sarm.
Let me guess, you think 90%+ are on ped's. and they only do it for recovery?
Did it ever occur to you that some people are just more injury prone than others? Like Ped users never get injured..right?

Constant ligament or tendon injuries can be due to steroids disturbing the balance of your muscle out working your ligaments, which I believe is the case with MANY modern athletes. USADA just makes it harder for fighters to take banned substances to heal these PED injuries. If USADA wasnt around, theres no doubt in my mind that we would still be seeing Cain in the octagon.

Is 25 really the adult male prime?

That sounds so young.

Past the age of 25 people decline physically? Bro, just close the thread, you know nothing, in not one sport in the world is somebody physicaly prime below the age of 25.

Gymnastics, probably.

So we're assuming Cain and Cruz are clean because they have chronic injuries?

Cruz is too smart to be clean.

Bisping is the epitome for the the price of being a clean fighter. Got where he did on sheer hard work & determination, not letting defeats knock him back and accepting them whilst moving on to the next fight. Takes a lot of guts to get in the octagon with known "non clean" fighters such as Vitor, Henderson, Chael, etc and put up a good account for himself even against "unclean" fighters like Anderson & Wanderlei.

Cain was born injured. Tore his ACL while lifting his leg up for mommy to put his first diaper on.

Loled @ physical decline after 25.

30-32 is the typical age when the explosion starts to fade and your muscles start to become more conditioned. For basketball players, this is when the downhill begins. For many MMA fighters however, this is usually when they start reaching their peak.

The smaller weightclasses rely more on athleticism, so they may 'age' quicker, but guys like Cruz and Velasquez are just injury prone individuals. You cannot change that. Was Derrick Rose old when he tore his acl? Heck nah, he was around 24.

Genes > everything.

Using PEDs can lead to injuries. Muscles develop faster and become stronger and the tendons don't have time to catch up.

Ummm they already do...lol

You can treat AIDS with steroids for christ sakes. Builds the cells faster than the virus kills them.

Also burn victims are given steroids to regrow their skin cells. It doesn't just work on muscle tissue.

It's a holy grail of medicine, kind of like weed, and it so happens both are "illegal".
Dafuq did I just read?
