Squat

Finally got around to finding out what my maxes really are

Squat 132.5kg x 1(291.5lbs roughly) felt good

so i went for 137.5kg and that was a disaster, got low.....just could not get it up, let it hit the safety clips, walked away and unracked the weights and got a huge amount of strange looks from all the middle aged women who are rolling around on Bosu balls

440lb deadlift at 175lbs bw. All my other lifts are going nowhere, but after a plateau and not really changing anything my deadlift just keeps going up.

Squatted with the PL guys at the gym today, so I went in free styling so as not to throw their workout off. They kept telling me everything looked easy, so I kept pushing it.

Hit a 455x2, which was a rep PR.

Then 475x2, which is +10lbs over my previous max.

Then finished with 500x2, +35lbs over my best single.

*Everything was wrapped today.

Super stoked. 500 had been a goal for the meet next month, but now I'll have to raise my sights a little.

Training finally moving in the right direction, I hit 107.5kgx8 at a BW of 85kg for a squat PR today.

This adds a rep to that weigth (at 4 kg less BW) and calculation puts me almost at my old max of 140kg which I squatted at 93kg BW.

Sick bench.

To be clear, you're on your toes correct?

Always train sleeveless, or only for bench day? :P

Works like a charm and has kept my right shoulder happy.

I lay down a thin yoga mat and don't budge in the slightest. Learned that from Mike Sinclair.

Nice. I was just talking about that with someone the other day.
